Mctominay? Man utd fans forums suggest he should be played further forward.

Scoring for fun just now. Big, strong and mobile enough to play up front on his own.

Would free up a space in midfield as well.

I’ve been thinking that for a while, but was reluctant to say it, might be worth a try in one of the friendlies? Although he’s the type of player we want running on to the knock backs from Adams / Dykes, but Ferguson could potentially be the person to take up that role along with McGinn?  He’s got a great engine & the physical presence to hassle defenders.

To be fair, Bamse's nose is a bit of stretch for them to rub compared to Bobby's. The Norwegian version of the former in  Honningsvåg is slightly easier because it isn't on a plinth.

Eric the ref would be raging if we wore out Bamses nose tbf.

I don't get the hostility, verging on hatred towards the monarchy.  I'm pretty meh about it myself.  Even if you accept (and there's an argument to be had about it) that they're a net cost to the country in the grand scheme of things it's trivial.

There's plenty other things tax money is spent on that I don't get any benefit out of but this spending makes some people in the country happy.  The sovereign grant was about £120m last year whereas (for example) spending on libraries is about £700-800 million.

If neither the libraries or monarchy existed I wouldn't lose a seconds sleep about either but I don't really begrudge spending on either as some people like them and they both serve a purpose.

The favourable tax arrangements, people being feted & given huge privilege at the cost of tax payers by pure accident of birth, hoarding of works of art etc that belong to the nation in general, having a nonce buy his way out of court using public money. I could go on, but you get the gist. There’s loads of reasons to dislike the monarchy.

A year and a half ago I replaced the 2 fluorescent strip lights in the garage with LED strip lights and added a 3rd one to give more light above my work bench. I was in the garage today and one of them started to flash, so I thought it must be on the way out. A few minutes later another one started to flash, then the 3rd one. I switched them off for a few seconds and that seemed to sort them, but after a few minutes they randomly started to flash again but were ok if switched off for a few seconds.

It is quite windy today so I’m wondering if the power is fluctuating a bit, not enough for it cause problems, but enough for the LED lights to be affected and start to flash due to a drop in voltage. Anyone any thoughts on this?

ETA: when I say flash, I meant flicker.

Just blink very quickly in time with the LEDs no harm done.

Here’s the owner of the dogs who killed the woman in Essex. He is her former son-in-law, she was visiting him to see her grandchildren.

The guy has previously offered XL Bully puppies for sale on Facebook for £500.

The lad has cuntishness written all over him. What’s wrong with these weirdos?

So you can get "Lipton", which is basically how most folk have it in Scotland. It could be any brand, but they always refer to it as Lipton because big Tam Lipton was the man.

Then you can get attaya, which is very strong, frothy green tea with loads of sugar.

In Guinea it's reasonably common to mix tea and coffee, which isn't as horrific as it sounds. Here's a picture of a chap preparing some:

If it’s not too personal, what do you do for a living that allows you the luxury of cutting about Africa during the winter months? Seems like ideal employment to me.
