A HOLIDAYMAKER claims her car was "held hostage" by a fraudulent airport parking firm which scammed her out of cash.
Tina Rees, 58, was returning from a girls' holiday in Cyprus to celebrate a pal's 60th birthday when she and her group were stung by the scheme
The ten-strong party all left their cars in the care of Parking4You at a cost of £123 each before heading off on the trip.
Tina's suspicions were first aroused when she was told to drop her motor off in a multi-storey car park, rather than in an official "meet and greet" bay.
However, it was the day of the group's return that things really took a turn.
Tina, from Salisbury, Wiltshire, claims that when they got back in the early hours of the morning, they were asked to call the firm's boss, Muhammad Ali, who accused them of being late
Sounds like she’s been stung.

It's strange to think of him being so tactically adept for Scotland considering he looks so consistently bewildered for his club.
He’s got better players around him at Scotland tbf.

Only thing I'll add to this topic is every time i see the user @HuttonDressedAsLahm 's name i always have a chuckle to it.
My proudest moment ever on P&B was during the Ryder cup and the above poster commented something like “I feel Spanish” and I replied ^^^ HuttonDressedAsRahm.
Very childish to blow my own trumpet, but it was a highlight of my career.

Apologies for the mis-gendering. Always thought hammy was a laddie. I’ll not believe you haven’t been neglectful until she posts.

This is my most visited website by a mile. Chock full of absolutely top, top people and always a laugh to be had somewhere on this site.
How’s the official hamster? What did he eat for Xmas dinner or did you neglect him again?

It's been a pretty shit day. Constantly on edge that the phone would ring for a call out and feeling guilty that rather than taking everyone out for tea we are all sat watching crap on TV waiting for me to go collect the food. Went out and the top 5 restaurants on the list (all saying open, one I even contacted) all had the shutters down.
Guilt. Fear. Shame. The lot.
Driving around Dundee trying to find a Chinese takeaway with the lights on. Found one, munch secured and devoured.
Mongolian beef never tasted so good.
Merry Christmas one and all.
f**k aye! Mongolian Beef even at the worst of times will cheer your day!
If I remember you’re on call, take solace in the fact that you've done your colleagues a huge good deed for allowing them a relaxed day, it’ll come back to you.
Enjoy the rest of the festive season ya Derry c**t!

Just me & my mum for Christmas this year, she’s unfortunately in the early stages of forgetfulness - I refuse to call it anything else.
Christmas dinner was a joint effort until she forgot she was meant to participate in the actual cooking!
To be fair, she joined in on the eating of it. So, games a good un.
Ive had to stop her 3 times from making Key Lime Pie as we are actually having Christmas pud this year for a change. Kinda regretting that decision now as I’m sure I’d quite fancy some come 9pm!
Regardless, I’ve had a fantastic day & it really is all about loved ones at this time of year. I think I did her proud.
Hope everyone else had as good a day as I’ve had. It’s been braw!

RBS refunded £50 that i left sticking out of a cash machine like some sort of nonchalant millionaire.
Thanks to @Rugster and @Bert Raccoon for the tips.
It’s only fair they get a £25 reward each.

I used to love going out on a Sunday with a female friend and just sitting in (usually the Ardler Tavern) having a pint, a bite to eat and meeting loads of different people and dogs.
I understand why some folk don't like it but my ideal day is just sitting in a cosy pub, supping pints and rolling about the floor with dugs.
Must admit, a friendly dug in the pub is always a joy.

f**k me I'm struggling this morning.
I'm thinking it's a combination of being overtired, over-stressed from the inlaws visiting from the US, and placing unrealistic expectations on myself.
Been near tears twice already.Easy to say, but if the expectations you’re placing on yourself are unrealistic & you realise that, then try to just enjoy the day without any expectations? Everything will be just fine, I’m sure.
Enjoy the rest of your day if possible. Plenty people here to vent to, if needed.
Merry Xmas.

Whoever you are, and however you are spending it, have a wonderful Christmas and New Year. I hope you all have a great time.
However, this time of year is very difficult for some people for a range of reasons. If you feel the need to reach out for support, from experience I can tell you that there are plenty of kind and supportive people on this site. Free confidential 24 hour phone lines such as Samaritans also operate over the festive period - their phone number is 116 123.
Take care, and have a great Christmas.

Excellent post!
Hope you also have a very Merry Xmas.

I’m firmly in the camp of a pint by yourself in a “proper” pub, preferably in an unfamiliar town / city.
