  1. Clyde v Peterhead is a banker for BTTS. Forfar v Ayr looks good as well.
  2. I posted about this in the Cowdenbeath v Stirling match thread, the odds seem ridiculously overpriced in my opinion. St Mirren also look great value at 2/1 to beat Falkirk!
  3. When was the last time, before yesterday, we got that amount of excitement on a deadline day?
  4. Yeah exactly. Bit ambitious hoping for all three but SHIRLEYYY we'll get another to add to this Zanatta loan.
  5. So Zanatta can play wide left? Good news if true. The drama queens will be up in arms and jumping to conclusions about this being a direct exchange for Callachan but that isn't the case. The board turned down an initial offer of cash + player so I suspect the approved deal is a more cash. If we can get in Zanatta, Fraser Murray and now potentially Herron out of selling Callachan, I'll be happy.
  6. Or it was part of the agreement between the clubs. We don't know if Hearts wanted it to be undisclosed. Hearts might not want their fans to see how much they've paid for a League One player. Quick browse on Jambos Kickback will show how "uninspiring" they see this signing to be.
  7. Let's just wait and see first before jumping to conclusions. Apparently this deal has been going on for a week, I'm sure the board and B. Smith will have a plan up their sleeves in terms of replacing Callachan/adding another player or two to the squad.
  8. "Honourable thing", give over. This is his career and if he thinks it's the right move then he should go. He's been a great professional and servant to the club and if he does go, good luck to him.
  9. Can't let kids in for free when we've already sold x amount of kids season tickets.
  10. Again, it's not about us 'older' fans who will follow through thick and thin. What it is about is getting younger people to the club, how do you attract a 12 year old to a Raith Rovers match? We can't attract them through good quality football so for 30 minutes before KO and 15 minutes during HT the club needs to look at ways of making it fun for kids. Don't write off the importance of match day experience because we, as committed fans, will turn up regardless. We need to be looking at improving it for kids who don't normally go to the matches.
  11. Sorry to say but the club doesn't revolve around you. The club should be doing as much as feasibly possible to make the match day experience better, specifically for kids, to potentially increase our fanbase and future of the club. The club seems to be in better hands now to bridge the gaps between the community and to make improvements which will help us in the long term.
  12. How can you seriously not understand the importance of improving match day experience?
  13. My mistake, I was on the understanding that if any club with terracing were to enter the Premiership it would have to become 'Safe Standing' to be used.
  14. You can't have terracing in the Premiership, has to be safe standing.
  15. Well you obviously plan ahead for every eventuality. IF we were to get in to the Premiership, you need safe standing.
  16. Sim isn't daft, he's not going to waste money for the sake of it. As he said in the interview it's something they're considering like everything else. It does seem like the Railway Stand is going to be seeing big changes, maybe that will be the place where additional changing rooms will be located for day-to-day use community use? I think for a long time we've been underestimating fan experience at matches and like he said, our fan base is ageing. We need to be investing in the future of the club by working out ways to attract the younger generations to matches, another thing I would love to see implemented is a singing section - has been very popular with clubs like Motherwell.
  17. Some people need to stop being so narrow minded. Sim owns Stark's Park and if he's willing to invest in to safe standing then great, not every decision has to be about how many pennies it directly brings in to the club. This is prime example of a change that has the potential to bring in more money but will most definitely improve the fan experience at matches which may not have direct value but is very beneficial to the supporters and club. As we've seen already on here, a lot of people are excited by it. I think that was a great interview and he clearly knows what he's talking about, exciting time to be a Raith fan, it seems.
  18. He touched Martin and Martin told on him to his Dad. Killjoy
