  1. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] I'm actually his younger brother, I'm only 11, please don't bully me too.
  2. Oh Christ, maybe you should get an adult to start posting on your behalf too.
  3. He did PM me trying to sell me a replica shirt from 2014/15 season for £19.99.
  4. What a fantastic couple of days I've had keeping up to date with the posts in this thread. My thoughts... Firstly, I think we're all agreed that in an ideal world we keep Vaughan, he scores 15+ goals this season as well as multiple assists for the BS (not Bull-Shit) strike partnership and we win the league. Secondly, none of us know any facts, originally it was the Killie rumour which Bambino has since quashed (still baffles me as to how he A. knows all this and B. is allowed to give us so much information about Vaughans career if he is a mate) and now it's the Dundee rumour which as far as I'm aware is just that, a rumour. The board and Barry Smith won't want to lose Vaughan but as Superhans has touched on, in a roundabout way, every player has his price and if that is too good to say no to, then board should take it. Who knows, Barry Smith might have 2-3 players in mind who he believes will be good enough to strengthen the squad and help us win the league, if given the funding The notion that selling Vaughan is conceding the title to Ayr before a ball has been kicked or the window has shut is ludicrous. None of us know the ins and outs, we're all speculating as to what the board has or will be offered and we have no idea what Lewis Vaughan wants to do. I do have confidence in the fact that if Vaughan was to go Barry Smith would make the right decisions in bringing in one or two players who will still be able to 'do a job' in this league. Let's all relax too, only 10 months until we're singing CHAMPIONNNEEEEEEEEEESS again.
  5. Might be time for you to go to bed. A. Society is a sponsor so this was part of the deal. B. Society is a good venue and the food will have been petter than a pishy cold pie from Mario. C. I wasn't at Society but you do have a point, I can be a freeloader at times. I love a compo. D. I suspect the food was free at Society. It wouldn't have been free from Mario as he'd have to pay for his own staff. E. Aye let's all stand in a cold South Stand concourse to look at a few football shirts and talk to the players, sounds a laugh and no double there'd be more people moaning because of how sh*te it would've been if held at Stark's. F. The volunteers you speak of, do we just assume they also want to give up their midweek night in the summer for a shirt unveiling. Is that enough for you? Some people here will find any reason to criticise the club. Nobody, including myself, knows the exact ins and outs of every decision.
  6. Agreed. Also take in to account the cost for the club for staff and for food to be brought in from outside the stadium with the unpredictability of how many people will actually turn up.
  7. Society are a sponsor and that will have been part of the sponsorship deal, therefore there is a financial gain for Raith from tonight
  8. I just came online to read a bunch of grown men salivating over new football shirts. Anyone already enquired at ACA how much it costs to get a name and number on the back?
  9. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] What a load of crap. THINK ABOUT IT. So Mr Sim wants to sink tens, potentially hundreds of thousands of pounds of his own cash in to Raith for us to become a Junior club so he makes no return?! No, he wants to run the club more like a business and he's not afraid of clowns like you moaning about it.
  10. Gives me a semi. Stark's Park is p*sh. We're stuck with no room for commercial growth, if we don't do anything about it we'll continue to be in the shadow of clubs like Dunfermline and Falkirk in terms of infrastructure and potential growth. Now is the time to change it and I'd much rather have a guy like Sim, with his credentials, in charge than any of the current board. I believe Sims father was a huge Raith fan and that is why Sim helped us out in the first place, he will not want to see anything bad happen to the club but at the same time he'll be willing to make the hard decisions which will give us the best chance of progressing. It's tough to make big risky decisions for a football club if you're so engrossed in it as a fully fledged fan with multiple connection to the club, both financially and personally. Sim is a guy who is connected but from the outside so he won't be afraid of your average fan complaining about change, he'll just get on with it and do what's best as a business which we need. The current board must have absolutely zero confidence and quite rightly so after the embarrassing decisions last season. With them staying in charge they'll forever be petrified of making big decisions because of the potential backlash. Stick with them and we'll maybe make it back to 4th in the Championship in 3-4 years before inevitably having another struggle season and end up back down here in League One within 10 years. I'm excited by this, we're stuck in a rut and hopefully he can get us out of it. This could be one of the best things that has ever happened to our club, let's embrace it!
  11. You all moaned about the current board and cried for 'someone'...'anyone' to takeover. It's now happening and you're all moaning. Football fans eh
  12. Imagine the scenes if Fifes Finest had saved up enough money from raffle cards and selling polo shirts to buy a majority in the club.
  13. Does your niece also think Callachan is quick like Paco does? Is your niece Paco?!?!
  14. Mr Critical here but I don't believe he did it in 13 minutes... If that's true he's beaten the female world record for 5km [emoji848]
