That would do nicely for us neeb , this is our level hopefully and one we could sustain with the crowds we get and finances we have available, would be more than happy to plod along with the odd playoff and wee cup run but think championship would be a step too far but you never know

Agree neeb not at the races imo but to be fair I have tipped Alloa to win the league so onto next week we go and 3 points a must

Going to be a long season if this continues , can’t go from a championship winning team to lacklustre drivel in space of 6 weeks surely

What was last seasons price ? Kelty charging £16 for full paying adult this season but lots of concessions and pay up season ticket available which I think is reasonable £18 seems a wee tad heavy for league 2

Alloa on Saturday and hopefully we get something out the game, not been at Alloas ground since watching Kelty Villa beat Pepes in the Sunday League Scottish cup about twenty year ago so hopefully happy hunting ground for Kelty teams Mon Kelty

Don’t know if Chris Dodds is still at them but played for us and was sad to see him go , great with both feet and driving at defences but BF didn’t fancy him

I genuinely think with the support we have and can possibly attract this is our level, I would be more than happy getting into playoffs for the championship and some good cup runs but think we would toil in championship if I’m being honest but who knows just buzzing season has begun and think we will be ok this season

Not the start to LL life you guys would’ve wanted , seriously think the mass clear out has been a mistake on MRs part , yes the players failed last season but I would bet that team would be comfortably pushing for the league title had they stayed together. Pushed us all the way in every game I watched and pretty much only losing by the odd goal , hope things start turning around but I thought it looked like an under 18s team going out to play OGB the other night

Had time to go over yesterdays game in my head and after two bottles of red things are much clearer Edinburgh were a wee bit sharper in everything they did , hit at the right moments and got what they deserved We had lots of chances but failed to capatilise on them and to be fair looked a bit sluggish at times We have got a few guys in the door and quite young ones at that so looking like we are building something instead of buying something so I’m all for that , ground improvements coming along nicely so I’m thinking a good season is consolidating our place in this league Would still like to see another couple bodies in just to help bolster the squad though Mon Kelty

Totally agree neeb Higgy massive for us but just think we conceded far too easily today and not netting when we have great chances is frustrating as fek , First games a lottery anyway but it’s 3 points we would have expected to have got in the bag when the fixtures come out Anyway sadness has passed and red wine kicking in Mon Kelty

Big day tomorrow for both teams as we both start our first time seasons in League one My heart says 2 - 0 Kelty but my gambling head has this down as a 2 -2 Best of luck for the season ahead Edinburgh (starting next week of course ) Mon Kelty

Ngwenya is a solid defending /attacking full back , gets the tackles in , up n down that wing the whole game and can handle himself , wee bit quiet but still only 19 I think , really good signing for you guys as would’ve loved him back at Kelty

Was at least a 7/8 every game he played for us last season would take him back in a heartbeat

Took game in last night and thought Cowden were well off the pace and physicality in the game , offered nothing up top which has to be alarming as even the uni teams can pull off results on their day , would be a tad worried at the moment

Red card looked a wee bit harsh but gave the ref a decision to make , big number 2 for Cowden looked disinterested at two of the goals and possibly keeper could’ve done better on one of them always going to be hard playing a full time team a man down good luck tonight and might head along to this tonight

Brilliant and unexpected boys really deserved it as well according to ma neebur who went up so fair play , Mcnab mom as well , what a difference a wee win does for the soul

Team I’d go for tonight assuming all fit and available Jamieson Philp Oware Forster Martin Higgy Tidser Reilly Cardle Barjonas Agyeman Strang in for Higgy if not available , give him a decent run out as no chance of getting out group now
