Can we not just enjoy the buzz and confidence just now instead of speculating impending doom. Granted we aren’t used to it but Ayr United is bigger than just one player.

With the continuing buzz and flag day I reckon we’ll have just over 2k Home fans. Yes there were 4K fans for the stranrank playoff final but a lot of fans that day would have travelled a far for it. Stay away fans are dusting off their scarves tho and are starting to believe again.

Ayr winning, wonder goal scored, tip of Hursty for Shankland to score anytime at 3/1, backing Ayr with £50 at 9/2......carlsberg don’t do Saturdays lol. Only thing I could have complained about was the horror score with Cove and Raith beating an 8 team accumulator......however pissing myself laughing was even sweeter.

Especially as his dad is now a coach with us. However he signed a new deal with them so would need to pay a fee which I can’t see happening anytime soon. Also Turner at Stranrank but he’s being linked with West Brom. That’s the only rumours I’ve heard and probably only a minuscule amount of truth in it tbh.

Thought that was before the triple signing. If Higgins is fit soon I doubt it. Would prefer cover for LB. (Including injuries) At RB we have Geggan, Ferguson and Rose if need be. CB Higgins, Rose, Bell, Adams and LB just Harvie....although Ferguson played on the left a couple of times last season. Haven’t really seen much of the academy players to know wether they’d be adequate cover. If only there was an ambidextrous defender somewhere, we’d be sorted.

“The type of defender that arrives”, what’s the gossip? Is it imminent? Or are you just waiting on Ferguson delivering a performance.
