  1. Who's your team's next big star? For me Luke McCowan looks like he could do big things this season Ian McCall rates him very highly, bust on into the team at the end of the season and has continued that form so far with 3 goals and 3 assists in the league cup if he continues to kick on like this he could be a big player for us.
  2. I'd say Harvie has been our most improved/best player since February, maybe a bit early but I'd be looking at a contract extension, if he keeps improving offers will come in for him.
  3. Fed up with ticket talk now buy it online or turn up in enough time to get one at the shop if that costs you one less pint so be it, no one has said you can't pay by cash you just can't pay by cash at the turnstiles
  4. I can understand why they are doing it but online loses the point of a program for me, my wee lassie was in the panda pals corner last season and you would think she'd won the lottery took the program into school and stuff, unfortunately you can't do that online.
  5. Don't mind the cashless tickets stuff but that is gutting, nothing better than reading the program I still have mine from the Saint Valentine's day massacre of them in 1998 the pages are stuck together because of the rain that day but I wouldn't swap it for anything.
  6. Stranraer will be right up for this, the gaffer was talking about giving Ross some minutes so I think he will get at least the first 45 big, Bell and Muirhead to get right about them and Adams coming on when Muirhead gets his yellow and looks like he's going to get sent off. 3-0 Ayr goals for Doohan, McCowan and Kelly. Ayr to march on to the knock out stage.
  7. Back to actual fitbaw, what a pass from Moff for McCowan's goal [emoji7][emoji7][emoji7]
  8. Agree claiming your striker scored a wonder goal when it was clearly a massive deflection of Harvie
  9. I get some folk don't like it or are having issues I wasn't at the game yesterday so don't know how much hassle it was and granted when I booked my tickets for the Stranraer game it took me a bit of time to figure it out but I really think it's a great idea for people like myself at the start of the month I can check see what games I can go to as I work some weekends book my tickets there and then no worrying about keeping money by. As some one said in a few weeks no one will be talking about this it will become the norm
  10. What more can the club do? We are all adults who can surely buy a ticket online, pop into the club shop at some point during the week or turn up in good time to buy a ticket before the game starts, hats off to the club staff if there was only a 10 min delay to kick off if that many people turned up without a ticket, the club acknowledged yesterday that their would most likely be teething issues and lessons would be learned from the first game, in a few weeks no one will be giving a care about tickets we will all be used to it.
  11. Wasn't at the game today another goal and assist for McCowan seems to really be stepping up to the mark to the mark really hope the boy can become a star
  12. This ticketing melt down is joke I understand some people still want cash but this change will come to most grounds sooner rather than later, Ayr have made it well known since the end of last season this was happening and have been proactive on social media and probably in the Ayrshire post advising Ayr fans opposition fans to buy in advance if they don't want to queue if you don't have the time to buy on line turn up 15 min early and get a ticket it's not rocket science.
  13. Seeing a lot of posts about McDaid mirror's a lot of Ayr fans frustrations with him can look an absolute world beater one week (normally when he's on the telly) then be rubbish for the next 6 weeks defo a really good player in their but so far has never been constant enough.
  14. Jezo I'm talking about his pen save as far as I'm aware the both stood there ground no one was rolling about trying to get folk sent off blame the officials not the player if you feel it's unfair.
  15. Good win we were on a bit of hiding to nothing today Falkirk have plenty of championship standard players but as a league one team we were expected to win good to see McCowan with another goal and assist and super Ross Doohan doing what he does best, 3 points against Stranraer on Saturday and we will be in a good position to qualify for the next round.
  16. I bought 5 for the Stranraer game only the one ticket shoes in the total ticket thing but the rest were all emailed to me with the QR codes no doubt it's going to be a learning process for the fans and the club
  17. Only leaving Moffat out as he's played both 90 mins so far
  18. Crap result for Scottish football and the coefficient but I can't resist [emoji445]Let's all laugh at kille let's all laugh at kille ha ha ha ha[emoji445]
  19. Though we looked good 2nd half last night. Forrest looked fit and back on form loved him bodying Crawford, McCowan again impressed and Doc looked as if he had a good game positive signs for the rest of the group and league ahead, gutting that if Feguson had left the ball for their winner that Bell would likely have had a easy goal line clearance but that's football.
  20. No true fan would justify it, the song is not meant to be racial but in the context it's far out of date now and needs either the words changed or stoped
  21. It's time to change the song it's been used as a stick to beat us for at least the last 3 seasons all wee need to do is change the word black to Killie and its sorted, TBH I hadn't really thought about in the context of a player from abroad or even down south hearing that they have no idea of Ayrshire slang and would rightly be offended.
  22. Murdoch playing Geggan role protecting the full back totally agree he's better inside but on the odd occasion particularly against Dundee United in the one nil victory at home it worked a treat.
  23. Might be a silly question but does any one know what age McCowan is Wikipedia says born in 99 making him 19 but www.transfermarkt.co.uk has him born in 97 making him 21.
