  1. Listened to Gormz podcast and also read his newspaper interview.... He seems confident that the players coming in are an upgrade on the players that are leaving....
  2. You asked for an opinion on the player, the man had the courtesy to reply, based on his experience of the player.. You completely dismissed his opinion. Rude and ignorant
  3. No idea why Jimmy bothered even answering you. How ignorant are you... The man gave you his opinion on the player as you asked.. Idiot
  4. I would very much doubt that any of the players leaving Rossvale will be playing in a lower division than Rossvale are currently tbh
  5. Yeah, I agree.. If a team has announced a player who was on a 2 year deal, then it is prob safe to assume that a deal has been agreed between the clubs.. 1 year or 2, Most deals announced will go thru
  6. I think the majority of players are available... Most only sign 1 year deals... Mostly all the deals declared will go ahead I would think
  7. You my friend sum up the dinosaur attitude of Junior Fitba. Rossvale were not parachuted into the top league, they started in the bottom league, and through hard work and the appointment of good managers, and the aquisition of good players, achieved promotion after promotion to EARN a place in the Premier League, where they beat teams like Irvine Meddow, Hurlford, Glenafton, Troon, Largs and a few others.... Just because you were once a Big Team, and have a ground with a bar, does not give you entitlement to the top league. Points are won on the park.
  8. Is the Tall lad at the back not Matt Niven ??
  9. I dont think they were after the Rossvale away support..
  10. I have asked some of the "wee teams" on twitter, what they are moaning about... Were they in a better position to be promoted to the LL with 4 conferences?? .. No they weren't.. They wanted a wee bit of the top teams away support, Pollok, Talbot, Medda, Clydebank etc....... Would the wee teams moaning about it, without being unfair, realistically have a shot, of course they wouldn't...
  11. If they live within their means like proper clubs do, then they wont overspend
  12. I am not really sure where the clubs from the lower divisions are coming from with the opposition to the "new" split.... Apart from Darvel, Blantyre & Cumbernauld, who would have been in the top league, I really don't see why the rest are so upset about things. Are they really any worse off? Please correct me if I am wrong, because it is all a bit up in the air.
  13. As I say, I got your point.. Hence why , I doubt there will be much interest in the Junior Cup
  14. 17 teams would be 32 match days mate... but I take your point... I don't think there will be any appetite for the Junior Cup next season
  15. Boy did well at Rossvale. Neat and tidy player
  16. I would assume they have been told there is a better player coming in ??
  17. So do Rossvale. Doesnt mean they will go watch the senior team
  18. As only the top division and some Championship games had linesman, what will happen when we eventually get underway and split into conferences... I assume there wont be enough lino's to cover every game...
  19. For season 1 my understanding is there is no lower division ?? 4 conferences, mixed. I might have it wrong and apologise if that is the case.
  20. Only because of away fans, and only because we are in the Premier League... As you say we reached the top tier, playing some good stuff along the way, but as I said, still cant attract new fans.. I think it will be very difficult for the new clubs...
  21. They do... Rossvale have been going 9 years.. Despite the success they have had, as well as playing some decent football... The crowds still don't come... Very difficult for a new team to build a fan base...
  22. The biggest issue for the New clubs for me, will be the same problem that we face at Rossvale, and that is... How will they pull in a crowd ??
