  1. So the slow, steady drip feed of hinting at continuing them beyond the 17th has begun then really...
  2. Missed today's announcement / briefing. When these restrictions were brought in Sturgeon said they'd be in place for "up to three weeks". I think we all know it'll be a whole lot longer but did NS say anything today about them being in place beyond the three weeks?
  3. Allowing for Dr Smith's "5-7 day" lag, and "eight-fold increase" algorithm from a week ago, we should be looking at 34,668 cases today
  4. Either way a horrible, horrible way to go about her business. She's an absolute crackpot
  5. Sturgeon currently bashing away at her keyboard and re-tweeting / sharing the news from Wales, letting us all know what's coming next. An embarrassing race to the bottom for the devolved nations.
  6. You might be right. Post this three week nonsense thing, I can't imagine the Covid Passports being back on the scene, so will offer a climb down on that front.
  7. Assuming NS follows Drakeford, if an anti-vaxxer was to question why I'd went and got three doses of the stuff, I'd no longer be able to argue the point.
  8. We'll depressingly that's Wales announced a blanket ban. Would be shocked if NS doesn't announce the same for us later today
  9. True. I took their game in at the weekend and have probably allowed the pleasant wee afternoon I had to blinker me from the whole OF colts thing.
  10. Correct. It'll be a blanket ban on fans at all levels.
  11. Was £7 on Saturday. If VoL are setting about shafting Rangers fans, then that only serves to make them all the more likeable
  12. My second Forfar match in a fortnight. I used the word 'streetwise' after the Albion Rovers match and that would seem fairly apt again. Although Edinburgh started well, Forfar (as was the case v Rovers) are just that bit more clinical and have something extra about them (Better players probably).
  13. Ah right...., so when the case numbers don't give you the numbers that you were looking for, come out with this stuff and invent the numbers you do want instead.
  14. Either that. Or, and what is more likely in my opinion, football stopping altogether. Teams will not be able raise sides a leading to a host of postponements to the extent it no longer becomes sustainable.
  15. Thanks for that. Was it ever approved for use in the UK? And if so has it actually ever been administered into anyone's arm in the UK?
  16. Whatever happened to the 'one-shot' Janssen / J&J vaccine?
  17. Don't disagree. I'd add Glass could possibly play further forward too. In my opinion, Clark's effort levels are second to none, but it's just not there for him just now.
  18. This was a repeat of the one with Harkes just before half time. Might well have been a penalty to United, but no free kick to Livingston. Appallingly bad refereeing performance today. Found myself thinking this was a guy who's never played the game / not that into football / just there to top up his wages
  19. Said this last week. I wasn't adverse to his appointment at all, but I, nor the United fans at large, won't be entering into any blind faith. I don't know why subs were so late today - previously TC would make them much earlier.
  20. Yet Celtic had one six days previous without a cheep from them.
  21. Last week I wrote that if we lost v Livingston then TC will begin to come under a bit of pressure, and given its a results based business, that remains true. But losing today doesn't cover the whole story. Although severely lacking in the final third (but missing both McNulty and Biamou) I thought we played well today. Lost to a soft penalty with a referee who's performance was utterly abysmal. Had the lions' share of possession, but it resulted in few clear cut chances. If it wasn't for bad luck, we'd have no luck at all. Levitt injured in the warm up with a recurrence of the injury that's already kept him out for while. The threatening Freeman forced off with injury early second half. Given the upcoming games, and the mounting injury list, this run could get a whole lot worse
  22. Its impossible for NS / SNP to commit political suicide - which basically is the crux of the problem. Look down south - Fifty Conservative back benchers prepared to vote against the government re Plan B. Not a whimper will come from any of the SNP equivalent at Holyrood (I'm not actually even sure if they're allowed to?).
  23. Stood in the queue for mine just now. Should I just head home?
