  1. I see you edited your post from saying you go on the website but don't go digging around (you deleted that} on it? Does that include the front page?
  2. If you are asking if it was on the website mate, is that you admitting you don't go onto the website or the various, excellent social media outlets? Your demands now look to be like just someone stirring it up. Do you actually buy the East Fife Mail by the way?
  3. So will I, by the way and of course I would like to see a couple of good signings too, but it's all about what can be afforded at this moment in time. More purchased season tickets might help.
  4. But if fans are posting comments saying they won't be buying a season ticket, what are the board supposed to do? Take a chance that these supporters will in fact support the team or think, better keeping any extra money in hand in case we hit hard times? C'mon guys, you either support East Fife, or you don't. Put yourself in a position where you might say, want to buy a car because there is a chance, a chance that is, that you might, that is might, get a bonus if the company you work for does well this year? What would you do? I know that I would wait until I see the bonus in my wage packet. Fans saying they are not going to buy a season ticket kind of encourages the board to watch their spend even more so, I would think?
  5. So why don't you do your bit and buy a season ticket now?
  6. Firstly, I don't think £10k is anywhere near a windfall amount of cash and certainly nowhere near enough to make much difference over a season. You must remember also, that money is NOT in the bank just now, so where do they get it from to spend now?
  7. I don't get your logic pal. By not buying your season ticket now and if others do likewise, that will surely have an impact on spending by the club. Why would the club spend money they can ill afford, if they know there are fans like yourself they can't count on (and there are many going by posts on P&B and previously on AFTN)? Get it into your head that a couple of games against the Rovers, is NOT a financial windfall! The club needs supporters every week and the more season tickets sold the better. You want them to spend money they don't have first and hope the likes of yourself "might" buy a season ticket. Thought you were a supporter?
  8. Lets just consider both teams achievements then eh? You go first.
  9. To be fair, it did take East Fife 24 years to reach a Scottish Cup final in 1927 since they were formed in 1903 and a full 35 years to actually win it in 1938. Also, it took 45 years before winning their first League Cup outright (no penalty shoot outs in those days). 47 years to reach their 3rd Scottish Cup final (it was an embarrassment not to win in front of 118,000), 48 years to win their 2nd League Cup outright (still no penalty shoot outs) and 51 years to win a 3rd League Cup final (yes, no penalties again). Crap really, doesn't compare to the mighty Raith Rover's accomplishments. They won the league cup on penalties, which is something the Fifers didn't achieve in any of their cup finals! 6 goes at it, but no bragging rights on winning a penalty shoot out final. Don't forget that the Rovers failed to win on penalties however, in their only Scottish Cup final in 1913, 30yrs after their formation.
  10. Great opportunity for you Raith fans to see the Scottish Cup this weekend in Glenrothes. The Scottish Cup Tour will be in the Kingdom Centre to mark East Fife's 1938 win. All true football fans welcome, so come along and get your photo holding the cup., have a go at the quiz and plenty more.
