Raith Rovers vs Falkirk - 5th October
YoungersPaleAle replied to Rovers2017's topic in Scottish League 1 General Chatter
You are not getting it. Nobody is defending anything regarding the quality of league 1, the quality insults are just a figment of your imagination. The Championship teams that get relegated were the worst, crappiest teams when in that league. That doesn't mean the other Championship teams who didn't get relegated played quality football, it simply means you were the worst and crappiest. The others can only claim to not being the worst and crappiest, certainly they cannot claim that they played quality football, I have witnessed that fact. If you think otherwise, then you are kidding yourself on. What people are saying is that the league is competitive and even the full time teams will not have an easy time of it basically. So please, give the rest of us a break from the continual jibes from some of your supporters. The Raith boys were guitly of the same shite when relegated, but now in their 3 L1 season, they are beginning to realise the folly of the shite they were posting. -

It's a nightmare for you because you are finding out the reality that you are no better than the other teams in league 1, as many other championship clubs have often found out. -
I thought the Rovers were bad enough with their usually heavily biased highlights, but I think the Bairns top that, after watching theirs.

Which is your level.

I witnessed the bottles being emptied, so you are telling porkies pal. Besides, I think the bar is run by another company, not East Fife? -

The Linos in the bar were not standing at the bar, they were standing in the centre of the room, so no wonder you didn't see her doing that unless you were on your own and disguised as an EF supporter, but I can assure you she did and would NOT give it away free on health reasons. -

There were turnstiles at the four corners of the ground. -
Stadiums don't make atmosphere, spectators do that especially if there is something to cheer about. There was plenty of atmosphere at the Hearts game.

It was a poor display, but bear in mind there were 5 outfield changes to the team, 3 of which were young and relatively inexperienced at this level. They were certainly not to blame because of that, so if the manager wants to give them game time, it is unfair on any player to be expected to shine when playing in a team with 5 changes and with other newcomers. A young player, or any new player for that matter, should be given game time when possible, in a full strength team and judged on how well he plays within that team, not a weakened team. -

Yes, I'm sure you did, let me check, yes you did, But I was just making the point because the topic up to this point has been about getting tickets for Cup games, so just re-affirming the solution in relation to us being in the Championship, which would be to buy a season ticket. Does that make you feel better? -

Well again, if that is the case, they probably won't be able to afford £20 for just one game? -

In that case, it would be better for regular fans to commit to a season ticket therefore guaranteeing entry to all league games. -

Yes as I said we are very deservedly in the League we should be in following last years displays. No disrespect Ester but we have a team of full time players. What do your players do during the week? What do your full time team do during the week? It wasn't enough obviously. -

The season ticket is a commitment and many fans with a season ticket cannot attend every league match, so could very well be paying more than pay at the gate fans over a season. It also gives the club a cash income at the start of the season which helps them budget for the season better. -
