  1. The club has to address the main stand. Getting embarrassing now.
  2. You fixed the sound issues yet? Far too often, appalling. Prime example of what happens when you let up-themselves fanboys loose.
  3. You'd think it was rocket science - 3 games v Celtic near wrecked our season,
  4. Disagreement is fine. Remember that when the players are forked after playing five brutal games in the top six
  5. Yes, we fans of a certain age remember things like Johnstone's belly-flap, the Roger Hynd illusion, and relegation seasons. What we are witnessing this season is magic. Forget top six, manage the squad to the semi. Nothing else matters. And anyone coming out with the "till we're mathematically safe," crap. Fork off.
  6. Pie and Bovril should introduce a button "I've never watched an EPL game live, but here's my opinion." It would save us having to read crap. ....... Campbell is in a different league to McCulloch and McMillan, two players that had excellent EPL careers.
  7. Really? Just goes to show how dense Motherwell fans can be. Campbell would stroll it in that team today.
  8. None among us is that stupid to take Killie or Aberdeen lightly. TBH, I hope we don't make the top six. Drill down and make the semi a priority, We ain't getting relegated, let's go for the cup.
  9. ^^ lol, and ya dancer. To me, Campbell has been player of the season. I think we have uncovered a generational player to stand alongside McCallister, McClair & McFadden. The first two were two of the most important and influential players in the UK for years. How they weren't in the top twenty-five Motherwell players of all-time rendered that poll a farce. IMO, Campbell has been used as an attack dog too often this season. While he's an outstanding attack dog, the boy is a footballer too. I wouldn't be surprised if Celtic have pencilled him as the Scott Brown replacement. He should hold out for a premiership team. I've been thinking for a while ( and ya'll are going to go nuts at this idea ), that the club should be looking to loan him to someone like Newcastle. I watched them in the flesh recently and Campbell would stroll it in their team. Why loan him? First, the fee involved would be handy. Second, he's on a four year contract. If you want to see Motherwell's first £5 million player, he's going to have to go on loan somewhere first.
  10. Yup. Alan Burrows must be pinching himself. What a turnaround in the club's fortunes in a single year.
  11. Our stadium is looking remarkable considering the weather. Top job by the groundsman again.
  12. Thanks, Captain Campbell and Kipre. Both qualify for young player, but that would be a fair outcome.
  13. Great to see our youngsters involved with Scotland - Cadden, Campbell, Turnbull, Semple - anyone else?
  14. We're needing Capt Oats to do a top ten of Ya Bezzer stupid posts. That one plus his moan about Kipre getting a first team contract would vie for number one. The man needs to quit being a football analyst and try being a fan again.
  15. I think he's performed a miracle. Fans that actually attend matches saw how brutal our triple-header against Celtic was. Never mind the final, the Wednesday night game was gladiatorial. What a match. A few points went missing in December cos we were physically forked, Ir's as simple as that. Tonight's results suit us - to me it's more important we keep the gap to Saints. I'll be delighted with seventh, and ecstatic with a cup semi. Robinson is now giving serious consideration to Turnbull & MacGuire. Along with Campbell, Cadden and McLean, we have the makings of a production line. Scott, Alfie, Semple, Livingston in the pipeline too. Sellable assets in Kipre & Dunne, if the contract is invoked. Great premiership players in Tanner, Tait, Hartley & Main. An outstanding goalie. The best defence in years, it would be great to see Aldred join us full time. All excellent stuff - but the difference this manager has made to Bowman is incredible. IMO, we have a special manager on our hands.
  16. Can you do the same chart from when he started signing his own players?
  17. Man, you're bringing back memories. Hard to explain to youngsters how good was the team McLean left, then to that in short order. I mind going to Perth around March 94? And if we had won we would have gone top of the league. Big travelling support, and we couldn't believe our eyes when Burley took to the pitch. I think we lost 2-1 and that wee Billy Dodds ran the show for St Johnstone. If I mind right, a SJ director had fronted the money for him?
  18. I was at his house in the summer of 96 and remember singing his praises to him. He was quite sheepish about it but 'Well fans that witnessed that season won't forget the difference he made.
  19. Scott, Alfie and Semple. We've got some strikers in the under 20 squad.m
  20. Any chance Alfie could be a natural used Scot under the five year education rule?
  21. 're Hutchison debt, from memory we owed him £1.4 million and Boyle £350,000. I remember a few people being gobsmacked when the total debt was revealed. Assuming ( and it's a VERY BIG ) assumption we manage to raise the further £307,000 this year to take up the entire £500,000 offer, then his debt in reality is £900,000. Johnson's transfer plus sell-on, Heneghan's transfer, Moult's transfer = ? Can we include the development fee for Hall? You'll know better but I think the transfer income is around £1.5 million. 40% tonHutchison = £600,000 then 20% to Boyle = £300,000. Boyle owed about £50,000. Hutchison owed about £800,000 - £200,000 = £600,000 at the moment. Potentially another £300,000 off that with the deal. The club could be as little as £350,000 in debt at the moment in real terms. Let's call £500,000 for safety's sake. Cadden and Kipre leaving us this summer would wipe that.
  22. Hearts have sold out their 3.500 ticket allocation for the Scottish cup game.
  23. Magic three points today. It'll take a miracle for Ross County to catch us now. The Aberdeen game is an irritation, field the under-20's and let's have a proper go at Hearts next Sunday. Win that, and this will turn into a dream season.
