  1. What happens to Albion Rovers if they were to be relegated? West rules read as follows Any club(s) relegated from the SLFL who are a) based within agreed geographical boundary of the League, and b) was previously a member of the League or a member of the SLFL at the time of the formation of the League will automatically become a full member of the League and shall play in the Premier Division. Any clubs relegated from the SLFL that was previously a member of any other comparable league shall not be eligible for membership of the League.
  2. I assume Brechin could reach bronze licence standards in short order - how are Buckie and Fraserburgh placed?
  3. But you can have best defensive record in a league by setting up defensively and putting lots of players behind the ball. That doesn’t necessarily mean you have the best individual defenders
  4. We don’t include season ticket holders who don’t attend in the official attendance. Doesn’t make any sense to do so as if someone isn’t present how could they be attending the match and be part of the attendance - just used by some clubs to put a bit of spin on their crowds
  5. 4 Albion Rovers players v 3 in total from East Kilbride, Tranent and Bo’ness. Don’t think so
  6. On kicking towards the High Street we don’t automatically get to choose which way we kick. In addition, it generally seems the fashion in football is to take the wind advantage in the first half nowadays.
  7. No places are guaranteed for HL or LL teams
  8. Yes it is indeed also adaptable such that it can host other sports
  9. You do realise Cowdenbeath’s ground met bronze licensing standards with 2 large stands and extensive concrete stepped terracing
  10. Nothing zany about it - there always was a league signing deadline in Scottish senior football. The play off rule was introduced more recently to make matters fairer as SPFL clubs had to operate with a transfer window
  11. Albeit this involved a blatant offside
  12. Yes it is professional sport not some sort of recreational pastime
  13. It was worth it if that means we aren’t allied to punters like you who simply misrepresent the view of CFC in a few glib words. Or who use the ‘power’ of the red dot as some sort of shock and awe response rather than having any real grasp of the range of issues involved.
  14. No backroom dealings - just a normal discussion. Feedback was crystal clear.
  15. No point arguing with folks like you obviously with your Trumpian sense of reality
  16. The Conference League wasn’t the last time - try and keep up
  17. Have seen the straight answer published on here - but I guess you are looking for simplistic and slavish support of your viewpoint rather than a reasoned explanation as already communicated
  18. What prompts this summer resurgence? Cowden didn’t struggle to explain - they explained in quite a bit of detail. Much more detail than any other club as far as I can see. Squirming hasn’t been required just a balanced and thoughtful approach.
  19. He played against East Kilbride last week
  20. We aren’t struggling near the bottom - we are mid table 28 points off the bottom
  21. Yes stands of 500 or more capacity need a safety certificate to meet fire safety requirements
  22. No they couldn’t as that would exceed the capacity which is deliberately set at 499 rather than 500.
  23. Of course when down to 10 men then there is naturally more scope for opposition in box (without taking into account many fans also want teams to have 2 defenders on the posts plus other players as outlets at half way!)
