  1. Loy I can excuse him . Difficult to tell what really happened there. Harris however, should never have been signed. Had been mediocre for a while including loan spells at Dundee and Queens. As soon as you hear 'he's one of those players that just needs an arm round his shoulder' you know he's never going to do a job in the scottish championship. If Harris had been a one off then it would be different but he also signed shite like John Rankin, Alex Cooper, David Smith, Rory Boulding, Ryan Sinnamon, Taylor Morgan, Tudur Jones,Aird,Henderson, Mckee, Mccann etc who were all murder.
  2. His biggest mistake was signing shite. His recruitment was awful in the main and the squad got worse and worse each season until it finally imploded with the entrance of Alex Harris and the ghost of Rory Loy.
  3. Jesus wept are we still going on about that.
  4. Without Kingsley cash we'd just have had less money to spend on utterly shit players.
  5. I'd expect him to move on for more than that though. Down south you're talking crazy money for bang average players and his stock has now risen with him having a decent first cap performance for Wales. Villa paid what 3mill for john mcginn so if I was Rotherham I'd be wanting at least that and more.
  6. I doubt anyone outside Greenock or Dunfermline really gives a f**k about our situation.
  7. If I was them and that did happen the offer would be greatly reduced.
  8. Honestly if we had the balls I would say lets invest feck all and put the club into admin and start again so that these clowns get feck all.
  9. The pars signed anderson on loan from Aberdeen who would have been a far better option than any of those 3 and I doubt he was on a fortune there. There was players available Mckinnon just signed the wrong ones. And why sign 3 strikers anyway when you favour one up top, already have two and dont have a decent right back on the books.
  10. Signing 3 strikers who scored a total of no goals wasnt the best move. His signings apart from 6 months at Raith and one at Morton have been complete tosh.
  11. I'd be giving that pair zero time to settle in. As it was them, & their cronies, who kicked off the latest round of shitfest, by downing tools on Houston. I think it was more Houston signing complete clowns like Alec Harris that started the rot. He was still playing both of them right up to when he left so to say they downed tools is complete hogwash if you ask me.
  12. I'd like to hope that new owners will want to bring in their own man and will provide enough investment to do that. Mckinnon had his chance and blew it.
  13. Petra was brutal yesterday. Craigen at right back was there for the taking but i dont think he beat him once. Mckinnon seems to rate him enough to keep playing him though unfortunately.
  14. He's nowhere near ready to play top flight football at the moment simple as that. Has shown great talent at times but has also dipped badly in recent games. One for the future but hes at the level he needs to be at just now.
  15. I agree. McShane should be our playmaker in midfield sitting beside either Paton or Osman. Probably more pushed towards paton at home and Osman away. Mckinnon is trying to play mcshane further forward which is never going to work. I certainly wouldn't drop him though as Paton and Osman offer zero creativity whatsoever behind the front two. Petra cant play out wide either . Creates the square root of feck all out there as his final ball is awful. The other 9 are spot on.
  16. Get played in the wrong position doesnt help. He really should be the playmaker beside the likes of osman. Instead hes getting played as the front of the diamond which isnt his position.
  17. Draw was the right result despite all the shenanigans at the end. First half i thought we did ok and kept queens chances down to zilch. Second half we were far too negative and if dobbie had been on decent form we may have paid for it. If we go down mckinnons tactics will have cost us. We have the players to take it to teams but we're being held back by this one up top and 3 sitting mids pish. Pertra again flattered to deceive. Can beat two men and then the final ball or shot is dire. If he plays he should be up top or not at all. Couldnt see either pen but the ref couldnt get his whistle in his mouth fast enough for the queens one. Anyway as i said draw was a fair result.
  18. We need to be going for wins tonight and Saturday. ICT away I'm not too bothered about as a point up there is decent especially as they've been on form. I don't think Queens played all that well Saturday and were under the cosh for a decent amount of the match. If we can start brightly and get a goal I can see them struggling again.
  19. I still dont see where in employment law it says that the company the employee is moving to have any requirements to pay compensation of any kind to the employer hes leaving. Surely that is between the employee and his previous employer. If i accept a job elsewhere my future employer has absolutely feck all to do with my relationship with the employer ive just left. Any compensation due to breach of contract would be between me and the previous employer surely.
  20. Thats because all those players still there from last season were getting pumped every week.
  21. Im beginning to think that st mirren were just shite actually as has been seen by their woeful attempts in the top flight.
  22. Its not that ridiculous a statement considering the fact that we have only lost narrowly away to county since the turn of the year. However, those are the 3 games we cant really afford to lose in.
  23. Your chairmans statement says that all matters with the SFA or SPFL have now been concluded. If we lose Rudden it will just force Ray to give some of the other guys a chance. Would like to two up front sooner rather than later.
  24. No but i cant see morton saying that theyve concluded the whole thing with lex miller sorting it out without cash being involved unless he concocted the idea of both clubs stating everything was sorted to save the morton chairman getting a riddie.
  25. So going by Mortons statement we've decided to bin our appeal then. Cant quite see what we are getting out of this whole thing. No reason why we should be paying morton any compo if as has been said there is no details of this written into McKinnons contract. There's obviously some sort of deal been arranged that suits both parties but I presume we will never know the details in case someone ends up with a riddie.
