  1. Watched them during his tenure & had to laugh at the physio who spent more time videoing the game on his phone & getting in the road than anything else! Murdie McKinnon possibly or John McKeown from Shotts?
  2. Good start to the season for the Pupils who have a very dedicated management team, commitee which is very well supported by local businesses and fans. Also, heard today Lochgilphead Red Star have folded, or are close to which. If true it's a terrible shame but maybe allow the Pupils to pick up a few additions to the squad.
  3. Wtf happened to Cambuslang!? 2-1 up with 15 mins to go & beat 5-2
  4. An absolute horsing for the Lang!!! They've started the season reasonably steady, wtf happened tonight?!!
  5. Alex has been involved for what seems love forever and the time this guy spends on his duties for the club is unbelievable. He has been involved in some of the clubs greatest achievements and his footballing knowledge or infact general knowledge of the area is amazing. A Pupils legend without doubt.
  6. Kilwinning Rangers beaten by Renfrew, surely pressure on Aitken big time now? Good to see my side Cambuslang horsing St Rochs, hopefully build some momentum for the season.
  7. Moore is never worth 20k in a month of Sundays.
  8. Big Davie? Would be great for him to get back involved at his local club Cambuslang. Someone of his business know how is what's required at Somervell.
  9. The first one was Pollok when McInally was in charge, Butch was the only away player who was spared abuse. Secondly was Beith last when your commitee members behavior was appalling and he took the bait like a salmon, shouting and roaring like a banshee about Beith not even having a license!! Haha! Meanwhile, the old boys trying to get inside was entertaining too, well worth the £7! See if it weren't for such instances like this, which yes occur weekly at lesser clubs, people wouldn't be so quick to knock Talbot from their moral high ground at times.
  10. I remember a game at Beechwood a few seasons ago, one of my first visits. The behaviour of one of the Talbot committee was appalling and some older members of the support were trying to get inside the changing areas, absolutely embaressing from grown men. They seem to have this self entitlement element within their support/officials of having to win every game and cause they're "Talbot" can't be beaten fair and square. See when you're up on a pedestal and the top dogs from days of old any scalp will be rubbed in your face so instead of behaving in such a derogatory manner be gracious in defeat and suck it up
  11. Good away point for Campbeltown at Royal Albert.
  12. On my few visits to Beechwood there is a definate sense of entitlement to win every game cause "we are Talbot". These days seem to be long gone with more competition week in week out.
  13. Already!? He'll do a job when fit whether as a centre half or upfront.
  14. U guys seemed light in numbers today? Where was Anson?
  15. Were they considering withdrawing? The effort the management/committee/fans put in is unbelievable with a ground/pitch some higher ranked clubs would be envious off with more upgrades to Kintyre Park just been completed. For a such a small catchment area for players and alot moving else where for work they do ok in my opinion but will always be up against it.
  16. £8 on grand scheme of things is washers! Dig deep, don't be a gripper and show the lad some gratitude tomorrow. If I wasn't away working I'd be there.
  17. Fowler at Beith going senior? Unfortunately his Motherwell and Killie moves didn't materialise but a lower league club will come in for him. The lads top drawer.
  18. The lad McKenzie, 7, for Hurlford absolutely dominated the midfield. He was everywhere and gave no one, not even team mates, a minutes peace!!! Great attitude application and desire to win.
  19. Nonsense it is not. 1st time watching the Burgh and very disappointed. Do you reckon Dorrans was impressive cause minus a few quality passes he was bang average. The home GK kept the scoreline semi respectable but the players looked all at sea in the closing stages with a young energetic Hurlford team dominant.
  20. Anyone at the Cumnock v Cambuslang game? A hammering for the away side unfortunately
  21. Burgh very poor given all the hype. Dorrans & Esplin anonymous, Simeon the only home player who got pass marks. Hurlford, a young well coached athletic side, well worthy winners.
  22. As per topic where is everyone off to today? I don't fancy the drive to Cumnock to see my locak side Camby so staying central. Maybe Burgh v Hurlford to see what all the hype is about!
  23. Off topic but can someone post a link for all the games this weekend? Cheers
