The lad McKenzie, 7, for Hurlford absolutely dominated the midfield. He was everywhere and gave no one, not even team mates, a minutes peace!!! Great attitude application and desire to win.

Nonsense it is not. 1st time watching the Burgh and very disappointed. Do you reckon Dorrans was impressive cause minus a few quality passes he was bang average. The home GK kept the scoreline semi respectable but the players looked all at sea in the closing stages with a young energetic Hurlford team dominant.

Anyone at the Cumnock v Cambuslang game? A hammering for the away side unfortunately

Burgh very poor given all the hype. Dorrans & Esplin anonymous, Simeon the only home player who got pass marks. Hurlford, a young well coached athletic side, well worthy winners.

As per topic where is everyone off to today? I don't fancy the drive to Cumnock to see my locak side Camby so staying central. Maybe Burgh v Hurlford to see what all the hype is about!

Took in your game today and first time ever watching you guys. Solid well drilled outfit with a good structure. The captain and other guy with the bald head (#10) absolutely strolled it. I watched the #10 closer in 2nd half and he hardly moves, just the odd yard here and there to generate space then pings a cross field pass to the guys feet! Quality player. Felt Pollok caused you problems in 2nd half when changing their front line and going with ball to feet more often as the first half they were very 1 dimensional upfront. All the best for the season ahead.

He's rotten! Watched him at Glencairn and I've never seen a player who's so lazy.

The Burgh soap opera will sadly end one way & we have seen this all before.

Edited that for you mate- Now after some extra £££££ he is back in at Darvel and committed for this season, he`s not going anywhere.

Signing so many ex Darvel players is baffling given the fact the level of under achievement last season by the majority of them.
