  1. I do wonder what turnout would be in such a situation. It could have a significant effect.
  2. She'll have to pivot somewhere, even if it is the customs union in all but name, however, that would make Brexiteers on her side have serious thoughts. Her plan B will either need to be softer brexit, or no deal. I can't see where else the wiggle room is.
  3. I would imagine TM is keeping her cards close to her chest until the VoNC is over. If she pivots towards Labour just now, this would make the ERG and perhaps DUP reconsider their alliances.
  4. I'm not watching proceedings today, but is she really floundering, or is it just more Maybot stuff? I am not sure I have heard her say anything new in a long time, just the same soundbites. On Corbyn, last night, before and after the vote was the time for the leader of the opposition to give a rousing speech, something to unite at least one half of the country behind him. Yet he came out with the same rubbish as usual. Dull stuff from both leaders at the moment.
  5. He's probably shit scared of actually coming into power. Been quite happy as a backbencher all these years, he's not got what it takes. Utterly depressing lack of talent within British politics at the moment.
  6. You should have just just at least it isn't Leith.
  7. You can't vouch for how good a town is, by stating how easy it is to get out....
  8. If we could withdraw from making any ATM related posts moving forward. Get the thread back on balance. Thanks.
  9. The unmatching knife and fork are the real culprits here.
  10. People who still use the term "Flat Screen TV" like it is some kind of luxury. They are about 15 years out of date.
  11. I'm looking to drop quite a bit of weight before a family wedding in May. I'm fine with the diet side of things, know exactly how much I should be eating, and what. That is already showing results. However, I'm looking to incorporate exercise into the mix to speed things along, and get a bit fitter in the process. I'll mainly be exercising at home, with some kit that was bought a while back. I've got a freestanding punch bag with gloves and pads, and a set of 3 kettlebells at different weights. What would be a good circuit to get me started, say 3 times a week at home...? Cheers
  12. Looking forward to this tonight on Channel 4. https://www.channel4.com/programmes/brexit-the-uncivil-war
  13. Cannot figure out how to correctly turn off taps. Tightens it just enough so there is still a little drip....drip....drip.
  14. A boy in my work still has "Gangnam Style" as his ringtone. Thinks nothing of it.
  15. I'll bet that some that are publically backing May, will not do the same once it comes to the secret ballot. I still think she will win mind you, but the margins will be the important thing.
  16. Paddy Power has a 78% probability of May winning the vote. The bookies very often get these things right.
  17. Just seen it confirmed on twitter that it's a secret ballot. I wonder how many giving their backing in public, may vote differently when the time comes.
  18. I actually think she will win the vote, narrowly. Can anyone confirm if who voted what is made public knowledge afterwards?
  19. Vote of no confidence vote confirmed for this evening. It's going to be very tight.
  20. I agree that there is no appetite for no deal. I also agree that there will be almost no agreement on who should lead the party if (when?) May inevitably gets ousted or quits. The clock is also ticking. I see that Government has confirmed that MP's will get a chance to vote on the deal before January 21st, that leaves very little room for any agreed deal to get through both houses. An extension of article 50 would have to come should there be any further delay. Things really are a mess.
