Old established league clubs, for instance Clyde, are quite rightly terrified of the future. A couple of bad seasons and they face playing Rutherglen Glencairn in a New Years game. What a come down that would be for Clyde. There's a good chance many of these old Senior clubs wouldn't recover from dropping into the LL. I have doubts Berwick Rangers or East Stirling will ever regain the heady heights of SFL2 ever again. Certainly not with a whole group of organised ex Junior clubs coming towards them.

Maybe the Brechin City forum might not be the place to post about also rans and being crap. Bad taste old chap. Especially from someone claiming to be from England's Wst Country.

Give it a few years. By then the East and West ex Juniors big guns will have moved up into the LL. I'd expect LL attendances to treble or more.

Where did you see this? Be surprised if they would be in favour as would expect automatic relegation into the Lowland league to be part of it. The two teams coming up in Kelty and Brora will push the likes of Stenny closer to the trapdoor. If it doesn't happen now, it will happen anyway in the next decade. I'd expect the LL to be overrun by highly organised ex Juniors teams within 10 years.

One or two clubs looked highly foolish with public and personal statements pledging loyalty to a failing regime.
