Does anyone know if the Edinburgh City U20 games are played on the first team pitch at Ainslie Park? i am a groundhopper looking to tick it off as part of the 42 but don’t fancy making the trip if it’s played on an adjacent 3G. I know they use both when City and Spartans have a fixture clash, but Spartans are away this Friday.

Clearly, they're putting everything into getting floodlights sorted before the deadline so sacrifices have to be made but it's a real shame to see them pull out because the U20s is a great league.

It was a fun game. Highlight of the game was absolutely Darren O'Dea getting sent off on his East Kilbride debut after halfing someone with a horror tackle eighteen minutes into the first pre-season friendly of the season. After that, the pressure on East Kilbride being a man down took it's toll and they were absolutely fucked by the end of the game so the second half was a bit of a stroll for Edinburgh City. Credit to them for making the effort to complete the tournament. It might seem silly, but it's very annoying to see tournaments not being played to completion and it's nice to see them keeping the lineage of the Cup alive when most teams wouldn't bother their arse.

I would suggest taking the 255 to Orchard Avenue at the boundary between Hamilton and Bothwell and walking it (about 20 minutes). You can't get lost because there's a giant thirty foot Ferris wheel lighting up the sky next to it that you can see from many, many miles away, so just walk towards that.

Apologies if it has been discussed 3000 pages ago but can anyone tell me what happened with Project Braver? I know you were meant to be playing a bunch of glamour friendlies against higher opposition but never actually heard anything about them taking place. When I was at Clydebank vs. Talbot last week, I was told by a Bankie fan that Clydebank had officially applied for the EOS next season, but I've not seen anything about it in here recently. Have we passed the point where all bids have been made public? Anyone know anything further?
