  1. Yeh. I was there with my dad and he shouted something in the first half. Guy was a total knob. Didn't even clap when we scored
  2. Yeh I was sitting in the row behind. Funnily enough those seats you were in are our seats for the league
  3. Can't agree more. Even thought it's very early days I struggle to see what he brings. He's not strong, won't win much in the air and isn't quick. At least with the other two you can see their strengths Mackin - strong, good in the air and can battles defenders Lewis - quick, looks like he has good feet and based on last night a decent finisher Turner - ?????
  4. Muirhead's a better CB than McGhee and funnily enough McGhee is a better RB than Muirhead so I'd swap them
  5. Really not impressed with Turner so far. Usually loan players are of a higher quality but I'm really not sure about him but maybe he needs time. Harrison is a big unit and it's been proven in this league that these types of defenders tend to be what you need. For me McGhee needs to be played right back. He is far more effective there
  6. I didn't think Mackin was that bad tonight. He is a big presence and at times he showed how hard he makes it for defenders. I still think he needs fitness work and match time but I can see him being a big player for us this season
  7. Quite obvious he's just giving guys game time. I could have told you before the game that Kidd would be poor. I don't get him at all. He's not big but he's ridiculously slow and powderpuff
  8. Have my doubts about Froxy as a winger. Looks more like the type of player to pick up the ball in a more central position and make things happen. Doesn't look like the type to beat a man down the wing
  9. Good guess. Could also be Mutch McGhee Dallison Harrison Petra Froxy Paton Kidd Robson Turner Mackin 352 just in case that isn't clear
  10. Can't believe how many of you have kept Muirhead out your team even though he was arguably our best player on Saturday. Playing Petra at rwb isn't as simple as it sounds. It's a very disciplined position and you can't just put a winger in there because "it's the in thing". Also I don't think McGhee is wasted at RB/rwb. He is good on the ball and he'll get a chance to have a more positive impact going forward from that position
  11. Why would they put O'Hara out on loan. He's only on a 1 year deal so makes more sense for the club to keep him in case he's needed rather than put him out on loan
  12. People need to think that he's not coming back. If it happens then brilliant but I think we're going to have a lot of dissapointed fans of he doesnt
  13. I don't think McGhee looks out of place at RB though but your right that he is more suited to CB. When we signed Petra I thought Hartley may have tried to convert him to a rwb due to his pace but considering he never tried it in the friendlies I can't see it happening now. If Brough comes good you could always play Robson or Brough at rwb. P.s. just to put things into perspective Dundee utd were beaten by Arbroath yesterday
  14. The hate for Muirhead is ridiculous. What did he do wrong yesterday? I honestly think McGhee is a better option at right back this year than centre half. Petra is a winger not a wing back. That lineup would fail before the game even started
  15. Did you bother reading it. I said 2 guys played well and another had a good first half and one played well off the bench. Don't know what school you went to but 4 out of 14 isn't a majority
  16. Personally I was embarrassed by some of our fans at the game yesterday. Heard a few booing and a shout of "fucking shite" at the final whistle. It was our first game and yes we didn't play well but with 9 players out of the starting 11 new it's going to take time for these guys to get an understanding. I also don't know why people on here are saying they train together everyday as it's game time that players start to understand how their team mates play. I'll give my assessment of the team Fasan - made a couple of good saves and tried to distribute early. Didn't do much wrong. McGhee - played well, however, it wasn't a great performance from him. Muirhead - actually thought he played well. Solid enough at the back and his passing wasn't bad. Harrison - thought the big guy looked solid and played some really good passes. Needs to watch he doesn't dive in though as he'll never recover. Brough - dreadful! Hopefully he just had a poor game but I struggle to take any positives from his performance. Paton - thought he came into the game and did a job. Does look uncomfortable on the ball at times. Sammut - thought there was a lot of promising signs from him. Tried to dictate play but I think he was unsure a lot of times what the players around him were going to do. Toe - thought he worked hard and done plenty running. Good on the ball and a very good delivery. One of the positives I took from the game. Petra - did well first half but second half he struggled to get past his man. We need to get balls over the top for him to run into or get the ball to his feet early so he has space to knock the ball down the wing and go past the full back. Lewis - dissapointed but we didn't get the ball in behind for him to run into. Almost managed a couple but the keeper was there to collect it. Mackin - looks like he needs match sharpness but he is strong and did score 2 even though they were offside. I think he looks promising. Froxy - played really well. Tried to get on the ball and make things happen. Had a decent attempt at goal as well. I'd like to see more of him in an attacking midfield position. Turner - shite. Hopefully it was an off day but I don't see what he offers and looks a waste of a loan signing to me. O'Hara - should have done better with his chances and his decision making but he did come off the bench and make an impact by creating a few chances. Overall it's early days and Hartley has a big job on his hands. The team looked disjointed but hopefully with game time they'll gel.
  17. Let's give the guy a chance. He may be what we need in certain games and depending on what style we need. Hartley looks like he's signed him so he can change things up and gives us more options. I'm still hopefully Jakubiak will be back
  18. Did he get much service though? Maybe with better or more service he'll do better. I can only hope anyway
  19. Fee paid as well so Hartley must rate him. Could he have played for Hartley at Alloa given the timeline?
  20. 442 surely. Aero and McGhee as full backs and Petra and Robson on the flanks
