This thread has become ridiculous. How people can say this season is a right off after two league games is astounding. We haven't played brilliant but we also haven't been hammered. I know that a lot of the players haven't performed great, however, these guys were scouted so they must have performed well and looked good in those games for us to show interest. I don't for one minute believe the performances we've seen are the same as the scout/Hartley seen, so it gives me hope that things will improve

There are quite a few that never gave him a chance from the start. I actually think he'll turn it around, however, I doubt we'll be up challenging for the title so no doubt some fans would want him sacked

I wouldn't say Nelson is the same type of player as them though. Yes he is physical but he also has pace and will chase down everything for 90 minutes

I've said it before on here but the players a team like Falkirk can get is totally different from what we need. It's still early days and someone we already have may become the goal scorer/creator we need

I agree with some of what you're saying, however, I think some of it is naivety. Some players can play well in certain positions because of the players around them or the way they setup. It's possible that the guys just aren't linking up. Most teams will sign a few players and only have to play with a few positions to see what works. Falkirk effectively have a brand new team who don't know each other or what the style of play the team plays. I think this is a case of too many new players but I don't know what the alternative is and unfortunately I think we're just going to have to go with it and hope things start to progress

Maybe he decided to play Russell to give him more game time. I'm not confident with Kidd at right back so I'd maybe take the opportunity to give a new signing game time over playing a guy who is backup for the back ups
