I'm not saying he will be a good signing but I think people have lowered their expectations. This signing looks like it will let Ray go to a back 4

I think the difference is that under Houston we were pushing for promotion. We are currently trying to survive so all of a sudden this signing looks good

I think McKinnon has done a very good job so far. January can be a tough transfer window so as long as he keeps us up I'll hold off judgement till he has a summer transfer window

We can only have a certain number of players on loan and he could be taking up a space that would allow us to get in a player who will make a bigger impact

With the speculation that Haber will be sent back to Dundee in January, do we think Sammut will be returned to Chelsea as well? I would say yes as if it's in our hands I don't see why Ray would want to keep him

Just watched McKinnon's interview. You can see him getting pissed off more and more every week. I'll be surprised if he gets to January without saying the guys are absolutely hopeless and a waste of space

I think the loans will be vital. Those will be the guys who are of higher quality but not getting a game at their team so want to go out on loan for regular football. There might be some guys who teams are looking to offload that we might sign. Hamilton let Longridge go last year so we could sign him

I actually feel for him a bit. He's a young guy who was probably told he was good enough to play in this league yet he's spent most of his time struggling in the reserves. It can't have been easy for a young guy to feel like that. I'm glad he's gone though

If Margaret Lang has made an arse of this then she needs to walk. Having said that, I honestly don't think she will have. She may have contributed to shite footballing decisions, however, law is where her skills lie so I'd expect her to have this all above board

I have to agree with you on this. We could improve the defence massively but if we're not threatening up the other end of the pitch then we'll still concede.

In January I'd probably let Rudden and Irving go and hopefully see Haber piss off back to Dundee. I'd like to see us sign 4 with another 4 on loan.

I've been trying to stay relatively positive all season and gave the guys the benefit of the doubt but I've had enough. That display on Saturday was the final straw for me. How are players like Dallison, Lewis and Haber playing at this level? I'm absolutely desperate to get a Twitter notification saying we've signed someone, which is outrageous considering the club signed 17 players in the summer and this is what we've been left with. I suppose the only hope is that we can sign a few players and hopefully get a few higher quality player's on loan in January. A lot can happen between January and May so hopefully we can turn things around but I'm genuinely worried about this situation

Can't agree with this enough. Lewis Kidd is rank rotten and offers absolutely nothing. I think people forgot just how "average" McKee is because they hadn't seen him in so long. A few on here thought he'd come back in and be star player every week

At least we won't see Greenwood in people's starting 11's, even though he's lucky if he's played a total of 30 minutes first team football for us

Why is everyone so keen to play Robson? I liked him last season as a wing back, but he is pretty poor defensively and that's why Brough is playing ahead of him at left back. The Ross County game speaks volumes about his defensive ability.
