  1. Apart from the Rovers game, which is looking like a complete one off. We have been pretty poor since November. Even when we win, it's normally a turgid struggle. Still got time to turn the season into a good one, as unbelievably our league position is still decent. Just think Craw and co need to up the tempo and try put some life into the team. I looks like we are just going through the motions most weeks.
  2. We should be looking outside of Scotland if there not much doing. OFW makes too many mistakes and we need better. ICT and Hamilton fans had highlighted that he's a liability as well. It doesn't come as a surprise. He does make some good saves but most keepers do. The sign of a good keeper is how few mistakes they make and he makes too many.
  3. Queens away is probably the hardest fixture in the league right now. I never feel confident of the Pars team beating anybody in this league and on the flip side I would never rule us out of winning, regardless of the opposing teams good form. Wighton looks like a step up in quality compared to our other strikers. Comrie will be a a big loss. McDonald had a good debut but still think Mayo will go into right back position and McInroy coming into the midfield. I'm doubting if we will see Turner back in the black and white now. Think Dom Thomas may come back in with Banks moving into a more central attacking midfield role behind Wighton. McManus to drop out.
  4. He really struggles to set a team up to attack. Yet again showed this today despite playing two up front with wingers. His midfield went to pot, to the extent where Alloa had a free pass to walk through the midfield unchallenged. Think Craw has some good attributes but not the man to take us forward.
  5. Thought their penalty shout was a good tackle. The chopped off goal looked harsh though.
  6. Always in our shadow. This is apparently the best Raith team in decades. How cute
  7. Just a wee team. You're just a wee team. We don't even hate you, you're just a wee team......
  8. He paints pictures of East End though. Well worth a 2 year deal. f**k knows what he's teaching Cammy Gill.
  9. Been like that with Crawford from the start. Raith game a couple weeks back is the only time we have been at it from start to finish in his whole tenure.
  10. Exactly what I was saying during that second half. The one guy in midfield who can put his foot on the ball and keep possession.
  11. He was the reason we won today. Two quality goals that none of our existing strikers would've scored. Not sure why so many Pars fans were miffed at him signing for us.
  12. If you saw us against Raith you would say differently. We are capable of a lot better but granted we are always pish against Alloa for some reason. We still can't figure out how to negate Alloa's possession game after a few years now.
  13. Canny believe we are winning this game. At least we have changed the shape now
  14. Half arsed after the goal. Crawford is not getting the best out of these players.
  15. Looking at our current squad even without Dow, it's a strong group of players compared to most clubs in this league. Time has come to get a run of results now. Management need to show they are the guys to take us forward from here or face the consequences. Tomorrow has to be a win.
  16. Who knows how it turns out. Only 23 . Seems like his did well at Arbroath last year with 3 in 5 and scored 7 in 15 for Hearts this season. Not sure why so many Pars fans are down on this signing. Can't have seen much of him. It's not like our current strikers are on fire. McManus has been decent. He lacks quality in terms of touch and skill but still effective. The other two have looked poor. Surely a potential partner or a competitor for McManus is a good thing.
  17. ''That Hearts can't find a place for him in the Championship speaks volumes, too. '' No It doesn't. Hearts are signing players that are top 6 in Premiership wage bracket. It doesn't reflect his championship capabilities. Did he no score a hattrick against Raith this season?
  18. You really are the Poundland troll of Pie and Bovril. More suited to Kickback.
  19. I think he's a better manager than AJ but my annoyance with him has been the over cautious approach to games. Too often attack has been a secondary thought. I really enjoyed the way we got on the front foot against Rovers, It's something we have not seen nearly enough of. Too happy to sit back and counter when we gain a lead, also his biggest successes have been against Hearts, Celtic etc when we are expected to sit back. I think that's his comfort zone. The defeat last week I'm reluctant to blame management fully for that. The ref should never of allowed that shambles to go ahead, but I do have to point out that our team looked defeated from the start. They were moaning about the game from the first minute and their sense of injustice led to them not fully focusing on try to find a way of winning the game. I think the players need to take a large part of responsibilty for their attitude. I guess you could agrue that management should be reinforcing that but there were guys like Watson that were clearly heads gone furious about that game continuing. I happy to see him continue to the end of the season, but the time had come now where not achieving a play-off spot is unacceptable. We have the players and the club is looking to move on with the German investment. Mid table finishes will no longer be tolerated imo.
