    This is one of the few times I agree with Johnson. The burka is oppressive but that's no reason to ban it.

    Have went for MVG at the WSOD this weekend at 10/11. Think he'll be desperate to get back to winning ways and has had a good rest after being papped oot of the Matchplay early on.

    Gary hot favourite tonight but I think Mensur is the value bet at a lowest priced 3/1. He's the exact type of player Gary hates playing , deliberately slow he'll likely be even worse than usual tonight. Hope I'm wrong.

    Looking like we might just get an Scottish final with Gary Anderson and Snakebite. Don't think this has ever happened in a major before. Saying that Mensur looks dangerous.

    Watched The Love Witch last night. Not quite sure what the point of it was and it definitely went on too long but the actress in the lead role - Wow, a ten. Film: 6/10

    Love the bit about installing a 'new state of the art pitch during the close season'. Yeah Dave, the one that even Sevco fans were saying was atrocious last week.

    Slow West A recent western directed by a Scot and with a couple of flashbacks set in Scotland. Very decent stuff with Michael Fassbinder in Clint Eastwood mode. 8/10

    I'm guessing that it's just a massive coincidence that the folks from different religions that believe in forms of creationism tend to be the most inbred groups in the world.

    Praying we manage to reach this. I've taken in some great culture and national traditions over the years following Scotland but, so far, sadly haven't been able to take in a stoning or flogging.
