  1. I've noticed him too, apparently we have a wee following in the States and Canada due to the City and rest of the Highlands attracting so many tourists. When I was at the Albion Rovers game back in July last year, There was a American couple in front of me and they were asking me about the rules in the league cup especially the group stages. We officially have a world wide support now
  2. Never in a million years was that goal offside! Shocking decision! That could've cost us dearly but thankfully it didn't. All over them in the first half and really should've been 1 or 2 goals up by HT. Really good free kick by Vigurs was clever as much as I hate to say it he knew what Ridgers was thinking so hit it low and it could've earned Cove a vital 3 points but thank god we turned it around. Good play by Doran to get the penalty and Billy Mckay made no mistake has he put it past Gourlay. Fantastic goal by Harper to win it he was so composed. What the hell has happened to Daniel Mckay? Seems to have lost a lot of confidence miles away from the performances he was putting in during the early stages of the season. He should've buried that chance in the first half. Dodds made the right move switching him with Doran in the 2nd half and it arguably won us the game as Doran put in a much better performance Another great save from Ridgers to deny Scott Ross which was undoubtedly Cove's best chance of the game. Can't wait for Hamilton away now another massive game for us. Please for the sake of my sanity beat them if we lose on Tuesday that's 4 league defeats and a cup defeat this season to the worst Hamilton side in recent memory.... surely we're due a victory against them
  3. Hate to break the news to you but Morton are one of the four clubs in the Championship along with ourselves that are showing great signs of financial distress. So I'm a bit baffled as to why you're acting smug about that because it's highly likely if we're heading into "financial abyss" then Morton won't be far behind....
  4. He was only supposed to be with us till January basically an emergency signing. Signed on the 26th November so just over a month. No surprise we haven't extended his stay he was pretty underwhelming.... no doubt will go down as one of our most obscure players
  5. I feel for you couldn't have picked a worse time to follow ICT again but we're all in this together! And the club will need all the support it can get hopefully we get a rare victory next Monday can't take much more of this
  6. Has Caledonian Stadium ever hosted acts that are younger then 60? Elton John and Rod Stewart are hardly young and hip . Duran Duran were actually pretty decent from what I saw and heard but I agree you're hardly going to be selling out crowds in Inverness with Duran Duran. Glasgow or Edinburgh no bother but Inverness was always gonna be a struggle...
  7. It's an absolute farce that we are always left on the dark regarding players and injuries. Like for example we know Deas has a broken leg but is it a clean break? Or Is it broken in several places? will he back by March? or will he miss the rest of the season?. Considering he's one of our best players you'd like to think the club would keep us informed but no not a word since the injury happened. Now I heard it's a clean break and he should be back before the end of the season but I only know that through fans and people involved in the club nothingto do with the club itself announcing it. We're not even told what the injury is most of the time we're literally left guessing and estimating how long it'll be till they're back.
  8. We were dreadful last night terrible performance. Morton had 6 shots 5 on target and they scored 4 of them. We had 11 shots 2 on target and didn't convert any of our chances the first 3 goals were totally avoidable too. Only so much you can blame on injuries the players on that pitch just simply didn't give 100%. Seems to be drama happening behind closed doors which clearly is affecting morale. Like last season this could be our best chance of going back up and it looks like we're messing it up again. Gonna be a tough few weeks if you ask me.....
  9. Judging by today's statement he's regretting his words. Think he just needed a cigarette to calm down. Looking at the replays he'll see for himself that he was harsh.
  10. Like Raith Rovers players don't dive now and then unfortunately it's pretty much part of the game now. Even Maradona cheated at some point. Look at Rivaldo in 2002, Whinging about it like a girl won't change anything.
  11. "Stone wall" is stretching I'm not convinced there was even contact from Harper. Impossible to tell from where the referee was standing, Mcall was very harsh about the ref if you ask me. I think Michael Stewart was bang on with his analysis on that one. As for Partick winning the game if they still had 11 men? I reckon that's rubbish the game was pretty even and I would say ICT had the better chances before the sending off. It certainly wasn't a one sided affair.
  12. Our defending was abysmal! I would say we didn't deserve the 4-0 loss to St Johnstone in the play off final but we deserved every goal that Motherwell scored against us last night. Just an awful performance all round That's 3 very poor performances in a row now after an already underwhelming start to the league. If we lose to Raith on Saturday surely the board need to start looking at the Management team. I understand that we have about 6-8 injured players but it's no excuse for how bad we've been recently.
  13. I actually have no sympathy for the boys that got manhandled by the stewards I don't care how old they are. I've seen that particular small group of fans act like bell ends on multiple occasions causing trouble, bullying and laughing at fellow ICT fans, they have no respect for anyone. They act like the victims when they get called out for it just like they're doing now The boy on the right who got away is a proper little s**t. I have no doubt in my mind that they brought that on themselves. Stewards were just doing their jobs in my honest opinion. Hopefully this will teach them a lesson and they will finally grow up or they might actually just stay away. The fans in the West Stand section who are actually cool don't need that group bringing them down they put in a lot of hard work every week and it'll get ruined by those immature cretins.
  14. Arbroath fans having digs at how WE play football? Have they honestly seen how their team play?? sorry that our style of play and tactics disappointed you lot so much . We were both poor today it was a very scrappy game. Still unbeaten in all competitions and Gayfield is a footballers nightmare, it was always going to be tricky so I'll take that point, bring on Cove next week
  15. I see a couple of our young supporters got into trouble today and kicked out at half time. Embarrassing
  16. That's hilarious that something rhyming with buns was censored that made my day certainly a sensitive lot
  17. Fecking hell that happened 28 years ago get over it. ICT have turned into the most successful club in the Highlands so it was a move that paid off very well. Not only have we done the city of Inverness proud we have done a great job for the whole of the Highlands. When it comes to "vile" clubs Rangers is right up there at the top. So you enjoy supporting the ****
  18. Arbroath have lost 5 times in the league and two of those defeats have come against us most notably the 3-0 game back in March. They have won 17 games in the league we've won 16. Only 6 points ahead of us after the final day of the season. No reason why we can't beat Arbroath. It's going to be a tight affair that much is certain.
  19. I actually despise this play off system 3rd and 4th have no chance of going up because while we're playing two games in the space of 3 days Arbroath are resting for a week. If we then manage to beat Arbroath after ANOTHER two games we then have to play ANOTHER two legs against Premiership opposition. Just have it like we do in League one and League Two makes it fairer for everyone instead of favouring the team in the top flight.
  20. Compared to this season's kit the new one is horrendous. Easily put the one we have now in the top 5 best home kits in our history I love it and personally for me the blue and red stripes never fail. The new one on the other hand has to be in the top 5 worst home kits I just don't like it and it the fact they've got the words wrong to our most common song is just embarrassing. If it's not broke don't fix it!
  21. 11 straight games without a win if we don't beat Arbroath that'll be 3 months without a victory, 6 points from a total of 33. I can't recall us being this abysmal I was there for the Richie Foran experiment, Craig Brewster's 2nd stint in charge still in the memory. The first half of our 2017/18 season was not fun either but man this is just depressing.... When Foran and Brewster got us relegated ICT was obviously in the Premiership during those reigns. John Robertson had a tricky start on his return to ICT but in all fairness that squad was in a mess at the time. He soon turned things around and brought us good times such as a couple of good Scottish cup runs, reaching the play offs in 2018/19, A Challenge Cup victory in 2017 hell we might have won the play offs in 2020 if it wasn't for the pandemic. We certainly were in a good position to finish 2nd that season. This has to be the worst level of football we have played in a long time. This season we have crashed out of all three of the domestic cups before the new year even started!. Not even a Challenge Cup final to distract us from this painful run of form. If it wasn't for our great start to the season we would be in a relegation battle right now. If we don't sort this mess out we might as well get ready for League One in 2023/24.
  22. I'm climbing the walls for a win right now even QOS managed to pick up 3 points on Saturday. Something has to give if we want any chance of going up. Finishing 3rd or 4th simply won't cut it in the play offs it has to be 2nd place. As long as Dodds is in charge I don't see us even finishing in the top 4. Cammy Mackay was saying to the Inverness Courier today that the squad won't "throw in the towel" but it seems that we already have.
  23. A fair chunk of the home support were in the West stand left of the camera. That's where all the singing was coming from. That's why it looked more empty then normal.
