Small minds small brains probably small salaries jobs and ambition . Both sides of that divide have nothing to do with football or community and the main reason they attach themselves to the bigot bros is to feel part of something powerful and successful because they realize they are destined for none of that on a personal level.Sad reflection on scottish culture and sport - get it up the lot of them !

Disagree - it’s way too early to write Dowds off. We are playing a different style this season and he has enough of a football brain to fit into that style and both score and create goals . The main thing he needs to do is lose half a stone and sharpen up and that doesn’t take any coaching time it’s just about his application and his desire . Unfortunately I don’t know anything about his character or determination . In his case it’s these factors that will determine e whether he will succeed or fail at this level . Overall he has the potential to play in the championship and there is a long list worse than him who have played for us at that level .

All this talk about this group or that group planning a coup puts the fear into me . We don’t need any more groups msgs ,boards, committees, or well meaning fans clubbing together to put their tuppence worth in .The current regime has been full of bluster but they deserve a chance to do their talking on the park. If that doesn’t work then the time may be right for yet more change but I pray that we find one messiah and no more groups of any sort as I believe that it just doesn’t work !

My best memories of Brockville was attending the reserve games as a young boy. I got into the stand as apposed to being sent down to the front of the barrier by my dad & grandad at 1st team games where I struggled to catch all the action . In these days the reserve league reversed the 1st team fixture and we got to see the next generation of “ stars” for free whilst rampaging around in the stands collecting Barr’s bottles to return for cash. From memory almost 200 or so who attended these matches. At that age I dreamt us making it to a cup final one day and it happened 3 times so far. ( I wish my dream had been to win one )The modern era doesn’t hold the same excitement as back then when going to the fitba playing fitba and dodging school were the only things that occupied my mind as there was naff all else to do. By comparison despite the modern facilities the entertainment level has plummeted to an all time low. 12000 attending brockville for a crucial match with cowdenbeath will be an experience I treasure . These type of attendances at that level will never be repeated Unfortunately my brockville experience determined me to be an addict and I’m still hooked as wherever I am in the world I still sign in on line to watch the games. Afterwards I regularly think WTF is that all about - I guess brockville ruined me

We will bring in a striker but we need to wait until other clubs sort out their options before they know who is surplus. If we are including English leaves then it may be 4or 5 weeks before we can get someone in. Having some Patience will get us some better quality in the loan market. The later the club frees someone up the better they are likely to be!

I saw more from young Ben in 15 mins than Fotherinham offered in all of the games he played at the end of last season

QP & Cove have managers we hounded on here as being clueless. We have better stadium ,fans budget, history ,infrastructure , commercial set up, etc etc .Given we might not have the better players but the team with the best players doesn’t always win the league. We also rightly have higher expectations and standards all of which in time will propel us to the championship and hopefully premiership. Ten years of bad decisions has led us not to trust those in charge and criticize their every move . Now we are even criticizing our new players before they even play. Getting on the players / management backs is becoming a Falkirk fans norm . Whilst this position is understandable the negative energy transmits to the club and trickles down to the players making their job more difficult and the outcome on the park is often affected. We need now more than ever to change that and get right behind the new regime and at least give them a chance . Each new session brings a new hope and we might just be surprised by a better than expected outcome if we back the team from the off .

It’s understandable that the club might not be able to share details of signing targets until they are over the line . This is a competitive area and we don’t want to alert other clubs as to who we may be targeting . Let’s all calm down and review the team / prospects th etc once we have a full squad and we see them in action. The suggestion about contacting the board to ask about potential targets is nonsense . Our role is to get behind the team and support the cause until is obvious wether Sheerin is capable or not until then let’s not panic the current signings should be well capable of beating Albion Rovers etc

Yip it’s a real worry as the playing squad so far looks poor when compared to the type of squad that would give us some optimism . I can’t see Rawlins getting the organization of the pitch sorted and not brining in more quality so it’s all a bit confusing . Maybe in the next few days all will be revealed as it doesn’t make any sense. How do we know Holt is getting 50k because I heard from a very good source that when he joined us it was expenses only. ?

He has introduced a process to evaluate select and coach better players . This is key to our development as a club . Any successful business has to have a methodology that I maintains or improves their income stream . The people can change if they don’t succeed but the methodology stays . In our case that means scouting , development teams , player analysis software fitness ongoing monitoring etc etc - ie a program that delivers . Given time it will work and is much more of a plan than what we have been doing for the last ten years Rawlings has worked with successful clubs - he knows what’s needed - give him a bit of time to deliver !

I heard they are likely to address the striker situation next week and bring in somebody from outside the Scottish leagues on loan who has a decent track record . Let’s hope that happens !

Wether you rent or own at our level doesn’t really matter as very few if any have a sale value! What matters is their commitment and ability . As contracts are now often 1 year wether loaned or owned it’s all about getting the best guy in from whatever method to get us out of this shithole of a league

Rawlings knows we are a championship club -and will be back in that league soon - he has decided wisely to invest in the infrastructure rather than buy in players. Long term sustainable V short term gamble . If he feels we need a player or 2 to get us over the line it will be January for 2 reasons 1 by then we will know if Sheerin is any good 2 It will be less outlay
