  1. I tend to agree with you - we lost 4 games to Broch & Buckie and that's what lost us the HL title
  2. We were granted a grace period before the deadline of 31st March and we would have contested the playoffs had we won the league
  3. Their statement doesn't mention when they first asked the SFA for a grace period - I think it must have been after the 31st March deadline
  4. The board is appointed by the shareholders who re-appoint them(or not) at the AGM which does not need to take place until the end of November. Only other way is to get shareholders who between them own 10% of the current issued share capital, to instruct the board to call an "Extraordinary General Meeting". I can't really see that happening - if you look at Companies House you'll see the current shareholders and their shareholding. We share your frustrations but there really isn't any requirement for the board to make any statement .
  5. I make it 14 in contract: Wilson, McCabe Martin, Thomson, McHattie Ferguson, Patrick, Macloud, Moreland Scott, Hastie, Raeside, Tosh, Loudon
  6. He signed an extension in March last year along with Marco -June 25
  7. Don't think they will as I reckon at least 14 are signed on until June 25 (or longer). They can't just leave!
  8. I think that the length of contract and wages offered will play a significant part- he has an agent!
  9. He has scored loads of goals in the Midlands and then Highland leagues so he deserves his chance in the SPFL. It's a great shame he won't get that chance with us however I wish him all the best wherever he ends up.
  10. I heard his "new contract offer" was based upon accepting a pay cut. Sign of the times for us I believe.
  11. He has a share in a coffee business in Brechin. Not sure where he lives now but used to live near Edzell. He will get offers from SPFL clubs - maybe Forfar
  12. Interesting to read that Price stated after the game that the title was lost in the games against the Broch & Buckie. He claims that " the players were not strong enough physically or mentally and that our recruitment needs to be better next season". I suggest that he addresses his own recruitment. team selections, tactics and motivational skills or better still - RESIGN.
  13. We certainly won't be able to maintain the current wage bill therefore I think that some of the experienced guys will have to go. We keep signing young players and then letting them go out on loan without giving them a proper run. In my opinion we should have kept Chris Mudie and Spencer Moreland ( still a signed player). The loan players Strachan , Wright and Richardson have not lived up to expectations either. I just hope Sparky signs a new deal and I would also keep Cruicky. He gives his heart and soul for the club but has hardly played any minutes this season.
  14. If the inevitable happens on Saturday then I hope Price falls on his sword after the game. He will have failed and a complete re-set will have to take place next season.
  15. I looked at the league games only no cups at all
  16. Was left diddly squat to work with as Bazzer released all the experienced players and put together a squad full of rejects - then walked away after 3 league games. Bazzer walked at Elgin too.
  17. They have and their ex Manager has done an amazing job at Elgin - mind you anyone following Barry Smith couldn't fail to do a better job than him.
  18. I agree that we need to win very big tomorrow to put pressure on Buckie for their visit to Grantown.
  19. He has been playing on the right side of a back 3 - would fit right in with your defense (not that I want him to leave). He has just turned 28 so plenty of years left however he has had injuries so maybe that's why we got him - same with McHattie.
  20. Lewis is miles too good for the HL and I was surprised when he signed for us.
  21. Players out of contract (I believe) are: Spark, McGrath, McDonald, Cruickshank, White & Heenan plus those signed on short term deals : Handling, Cooney & Mackintosh. Loan players: Richardson, Strachan & Wright will return to their parent clubs . No club has enquired about Grady despite a number of rumours to the contrary. Still have 13 players under contract for next season including: Martin, Patrick, McHattie, Macloud, Loudon & Scott . I would expect that their could be offers for some of the above.
  22. We actually took 4 points against BOD as we beat them at Spain Park. I agree that nil points against the other 2 teams over 4 games is unacceptable and will almost certainly cost us dear. Crowds next season - who knows?
  23. Crowds have not been dwindling at all - average league home crowd is 541 including 713 yesterday. The club had 180 in their various hospitality offerings which shows that plenty of people are still keen on supporting the club. Before you post utter garbage, I would urge you to do a bit of research in an effort to stop embarrassing yourself .
