Down to the bear bones of a squad now- need some in quickly - can’t expect 20s boys to be playing 2 in 2 - I would imagine he will have a couple out tomorrow against HW - also think more than likely to be loan players given the time of season, financial situation and also lack of decent players available

Was one of the coaches at Bonnyrigg under White but left around the same time as him- he wanted the job when smally left but they didn’t advertise it -

He will get more out of the young lads than the previous manager . He knows how to organise properly and at the same time let the boys express themselves - I’m sure he will make a few positive signing in the next couple months - hang on to Dalbeattie , Gretna the few teams above, said before good run in so still have it all to play for. Putting 3-4 results together can make a huge difference

Can really only look for a bit of improvement on last time - can’t judge anything on this game

Probably better not knowing tbh and just get behind him . App might not suit everyone and if there’s another decent name or 2 it just gives folk the opportunity to have a go if it’s not going well. At least he’s qualified , knows the game and has worked with young guys before and should have loads contacts in the game. Last manager struggled to bring quality in because people knew him and his style - anyway he’s gone so onwards and upwards

Good appointment in my opinion . He was apparently interested in the job when GS was sacked but the job was never advertised and the rest is history . Will have loads contacts in the game for both experienced and young players and worked with some decent management teams in the past - good luck Yano , well done committee

I think we could be surprised at the interest , always an attractive job , although it hasn’t looked like it there’s still a lot of good young players there who haven’t played with any freedom to express themselves- Ally Smith , Kyle Mitchell , Somerville , dowie all potentially good players but need good experienced players in. Said in an earlier post that we forced young players out the door because they weren’t suited to the managers style- ( what style?)

Timing is a concern but whoever it is will be an improvement on what you’ve been watching recently - even with the same set of players , if they are set up properly , have a way of playing and allowed to express themselves you’ll see a massive difference- still need a few good experienced players and a manager that can communicate.

Maybe too late but I said before , we have a good run in - I think you’ll see a difference in the young boys/ they’ve all been brought up and coached to play the game the modern way and with a bit of freedom , not to be chasing the second ball all day long - still need some good experience in there tho- pity we lost Reid and mckenzie so close to them going as I thought they were decent players going forward but hey ho

I know what your saying but for any manager that fancies it , the only way is up . Not seen mickey near the ground as much this season but that’s not a bad shout in terms of maybe getting a few good experienced lads on board
