  1. Any rumours about whose applied for job? Inside info Newcy? Mcgoo?
  2. Just passionate about the club ! Cannae keep it in , just blurts it out and doesn’t give a toss who it offends- happy birthday Peter
  3. Is he not at Arniston ? Been a bit much of the Arniston connection lately - EUFA B licenced ?
  4. Thinks it’s more of a case of who wants us!!! I think you ll be surprised who applies so just got to wait and see and hope we get it right. Can’t be any worse
  5. Let’s be honest there won’t be a return to the 80s 90s days , budgets and the infrastructure won’t allow for that. Top half of the league and a good run in the cups would be acceptable for me . There are half a dozen clubs out of reach now on and off the park- but wouldn’t it be nice to go into every game knowing you had a chance
  6. Really hope it’s not too late, it’s definitely the right decision- we ve went backwards since he took over and nothing positive to come out of their time there. We lost players ( whether good or bad) because they knew him and his management style - like you I think they should have advertised the job and he should have walked with the man that brought him in
  7. Read my post properly and you’ll see I do mention that the players are not good enough but my point is the he got the job to change it and make it better and he failed - I have no family agend, I only want the club to do well and be able to compete in the top half of the league. anyone with any sense wouldn’t have gave him the job in the first place - we ve went backwards- let’s hope it’s not too late and the new manager can keep us up
  8. Not sure - the last player to leave signed for Tranent - Craig Reid - no sure about this one , only what I’ve heard but can’t confirm
  9. So who picks the team ? Whose responsible for the tactics ? Whose responsible for bringing players in? Why are players walking ? I’m led to believe another young player has walked ( not confirmed but missing today) your right about more than him to blame but the previous manager got more out of that bunch . ffs you seem happy enough to let it go - for me the buck stops with the manager ., new manager- new players that’s what’s needed- can you tell me any positives about the management team? New players don’t just walk in the door you ve got to go and find them .
  10. Mcgoo is right the players are not good enough ......... but the management are !!! Who is rresponsible for signing players? Ok you can maybe shift some of the blame to the previous manager but he’s had plenty time and has lost more players than he’s signed . There’s no style , no tactics , no shape , no set pieces practised defensively or going forward - something has got to change
  11. If we can hang on to the teams above , we have a decent run in and if we can get our act together now , it will give us a fighting chance
  12. The rats left before the the ship sailed , those leaving now are being told their not wanted or not good enough !
  13. Not saying that at all - I’m saying if the club allow it to happen then people will work instead of train and rightly so but a lot of clubs won’t allow it on a regular basis as they want to be successful. They want full squads at training so they can work on shape, set pieces etc , you can’t do that when guys that are playing on a Saturday don’t train . Top clubs paying more wages as well so I get that
  14. If it is allowed to happen players will take advantage , I wouldn’t imagine the teams at the other end of the league have any issues- which will be reflected in performances - I too stepped down the grades because of shift work .
  15. Totally ! But I get the feeling there a few in the mindset of - he doesn’t train and plays every week so why should I and choose to work instead - there are genuine ones as well not the point I’m making is that it appears worse at WW where they pull in the 20 s to make up the numbers
  16. Aye , your right but you know where I’m coming from
  17. I can see this from both sides , work will nearly always take priority over training , however the players that are training week in week out and are not selected at the expense of those who don’t train are quite right ( in my opinion) to feel aggrieved when their left out on a Saturday . Most teams will have players on their books that can’t train twice a week , but WW seem to be worse than most. Danger is that the players that can train , look at the boys who don’t and say f*** it , if it good enough for them , it’s good enough for me!! Don’t know how much wages they get but they should be docked for not training
  18. Anyone know how the trialists enjoyed last night and if there is any possibility of them joining
  19. Aye that’s him, decent young player and M.D. was surprised he was let go but don’t think he was our player- on loan from Bonnyrigg - saying that I don’t think there was much of an attempt to keep him
  20. You will recognise a name on Dunbar team sheet tho
  21. You’ll see the commentary and the teams on Dunbar’s Twitter
