Well done your lot. By far the best team, in individual games, I’ve seen in the league in the past 2 seasons. Would’ve been a bit of an injustice if you hadn’t managed to get up.

Glad we won’t have to face you next year and gives me a glimmer of hope that we managed to finish off quite a few points ahead of you this year - maybe we’re not as far off as I feel we are from promotion.

Appreciate it… I think you may be more right than you know.  Think your fans have high expectations and at times you’ve underperformed, especially last season.  But think next season may be good for you guys.  That’s where I’d have my money

I’ll no doubt bore everyone with a big post in the coming days but a quick shout out to Gabby McGill. Once again he’s popped up with a huge goal. The first thing I did when I ran on the park was hug him as he was bawling his eyes out. Him and his family seem like fantastic people.

I know a couple of the players are staying on but I’m really hoping Gabby is with the team next season.  Tbh, without promotion, we could have seen a few leave.   Gabbys goal along with the huge balls on the penalty takers (Dyceys words!) means we’ve got a great chance to build on this squad

Airdrie I hate you guys I really do, but fair play out Accies'd the Accies. Enjoy yourselves hopefully you make the prem and annoy Scottish football as much as we have.(ps drop the Trump flag)

We'll take up the Falkirk bashing from here.

Kinda feeling bad for Hamilton (just a wee bit).  If you’d played like that over the course of the season doubt you’d be in a relegation battle.  As for Falkirk, can see them strengthening while Hamilton may get weaker.   Big ask for you but best of luck with it

2 wins out of 2 in Hamilton this season, so hopefully we keep that going. Get out and at them early. Get a goal and that could do it.

Can’t understate this enough, truly believe if we get an early goal then a comeback from Hamilton is HIGHLY unlikely.  As long as we keep 11 men on the pitch!  Got to be wise to their tactics, they know us losing players gives them a big advantage at home

  5. We’re like the Airdrie of old with these sending offs.   Don’t think this will change our tactics or shape for the second leg.  But we have to go for it.   About the poorest we’ve played in weeks.   Rhys needs to get the best out of these guys on Saturday.   Was it just me or did Dycey look a bit tired out there today?  He played well enough but looked a bit knackered at times

It would certainly make it an interesting atmosphere dunno how Police Scotland would feel about it 😆.  Fortunately I wasn’t at our most recent shit show at your place but my record before that was 2 visits with 1 win each. Would be interesting watching Airdrie in the flesh without being stressed oot ma tits about losing.

Give it a couple of years 😜

  7. I have to say this before a ball is kicked Wednesday night…. I’m very proud of the team and what they’ve achieved this season.   Everyone knew that we didn’t have the largest budget in this league and so finishing where we did was just about right in ‘financial’ terms.   But the board have obviously made the right appointment in Rhys and I’ve become more and more impressed with him as the season has gone on.  He was a standout leader in the squad last season and this year he has taken the step up to manager in his stride.  He’s had a great influence in the squad and those who were here last year have improved  while new signings and much better than they were last August.   And so the playoffs have been a complete b*****d to us over the years but this time it feels different.  I don’t think we’re a team who will collapse under pressure or a quick goal from Hamilton.  This, I believe, is the best chance we’ve had in many a year and in many ways the pressure is off a little bit.  Last season only a fool didn’t understand that if we lost promotion then Easton and Murray would be gone and so it proved.   I know Rhys will be here next year regardless and whatever league we’re in I think the team will be stronger.  I don’t know which of our squad have Championship ambitions but feel most will have a loyalty, or at least a decent bond to Rhys and hopefully we can keep this train running - and in the Championship.  The neutrals are right… WE are the better team. We MUST have confidence in ourselves without being arrogant, which I don’t sense in this squad. Another solid Wednesday night performance will see us putting one foot through the door.  But if it doesn’t happen, I’ll be the first one ready to back the team next year for some silverware.   And maybe even a cup double #100yearson
