I don’t disagree with what JW has said here. Pretty sure I’ve written as much above or one one or two of the match threads. Still, I think it could cheese off more than those it’s directed at. No huge surprise at those players leaving. The fact it hasn’t been stated who makes me think could be PCAs with teams who could be in our half of the league after the split (that’s not the top half).

Personally, I thought the level of abuse at the game yesterday was a bit over the top, as angry as I was. Did anyone hear the exact shout around when Montaño came over? It sounded like “you [something] b*****d!”. Unsure who the shout was directed to.

Yea, i was thinking back to that 7-0 game I endured at Easter road. For us being so poor I’m surprised you didn’t work our keeper but they game is over after 12 mins so possibly excusable.

Deary me, Hibs with 4 shots on target all day and we are 3 down inside 12 mins ( I don’t blame shamal). Unfortunate that the first broke kindly for the striker but no coincidence that all 3 came via that same channel. And yet Sangare has a great chance which he hits straight at keeper and Yengi misses target from similar position. The less said about Guthrie’s two free headers the better. Overall, consistently not good enough defensively and not clinical enough. Gave ourselves a mountain to climb and no coming back nor in the league.

I guess the assumption here is that they view it as an investment and are looking for a return? I cant recall any related quotes directly from either of them but if not then I could see why they’d hang around. I’ve heard it said that they you don’t get involved in owning a football club to make money (indeed it can make you rather unpopular among supporters). edit: and Livi are surely the least attractive club to any one looking to make a buck! I’d be questioning any business folk seeing us as an attractive project prospect!

Listen or not, what are Livi fans meant to do? Larger, more vocal supporter bases don’t necessarily have influence over governance. It seems we’ve got people in charge that want the club to progress and we’ve got people on the sidelines presumably not fussed about what court battles are doing to the club. Evidently it’s harming the playing side with uncompetitive budget. Perceived dross on the park and languishing in lower leagues will not help to grow the fan base, imo.

You seem awful suspicious of a new account appearing and commenting exclusively on governance, legal, etc, alongside some others which only appear to address these topics, also.

I’m coming round to this aswell: we can’t defend for shit so just pile on all the attackers and let’s go out all guns blazing. We couldn’t keep clean sheets when we played defensively so might aswell give ourselves a chance of going ahead by out scoring the opposition. Hitting the back of the net fairly regualrly from open play now. Anderson, Yengi, Nouble, Mackay, Bradley, Guthrie + 5 (including a goalkeeper if needs be) in a 2-2-6 formation.

Hindsight is obviously a great thing and looking back I think we should’ve set up differently. i was in agreement with starting the same team that defeated st mirren but thinking about it afterward the two opponents are clearly very different. St mirren are considered defensively strong whereas County fans have been saying cheap goals conceded (like Livi). We should perhaps have started with the two up top to try to expose the County defence rather than one chasing shadows while the defenders shifted it side to side and down the wings or stepped into midfield.

If someone in our end did that they should be banned from football and some greater legal repercussions.

Just clocked a couple of County fans throwing stones at the Livi fans cars after pursuing them up Park Street. Not a good look County…

I think must not lose for Livi, as this would undo the good work against st mirren, and probably the same for County as would give us momentum. Murray is probably the best striker between the two squads and his inclusion would make me nervous. Hopefully Holt and Carson can cut off the supply. Could do with Donellan back in but to be fair to Sangare he did well on Saturday although I think St Mirren tended to focus more of their attack down the left which really didn’t expose him. Really looking forward to the trip and making a day of it on Saturday. What’s the best shout for pre-match bevs? (I might be greetin efter!)

I can only think the annoyance was that you didn’t take your chances because there were plenty of them. The managers must be like “aye, I know they are pish but I’ve not got the money for a Mivoski/Van Veen/Shankland!”.

Don’t know anything about this. I did mean to comment that the those North Bank boys did well to continue making noise in that second half. Not for the first time either from memory.

I think those stats are quite telling. Both keepers parried one out to the on rushing attacker and we got away with it (obviously he was a offside but it demonstrates the small margin). St Mirren were imprecise in final ball and finishing. Haven’t seen anyone mention Stephen Kelly’s missed from 30-odd yards after intercepting that keeper pass. That was among the top chances in the game I’d say.

Agree with much of the above. Saints started well and we couldn’t get a look in. A fair bit of space between Nouble and a rightfully tucked in Brandon meaning several crosses coming in. A couple of them were into areas but no one gambling from memory. We started to get a foothold after the reshuffle and a couple of promising breakaways even if they lacked conviction or support. For the miss, terrible palm out from Shamal. In defence of the would be finisher the ball was rising and he had to go over the keeper but aye it was poor, and offside. That’s your Livi conceding cheap sort of goal moment there.
