Walking Down The Halbeath Road

I've watched Mumbongo play before and he could well be the Pars Akinyemi. Absolute unit. -
The Famous Aberdeen - Season 2022/23
Irrational Behaviour replied to a topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
If that starting XI starts under Glass or Goodwin, we lose that game. Not that saying that makes the result any better. I do think a key thing we need to realise is that we took 16 points away from home all of last season. We lost this fixture last year. One thing that will help contribute to us finishing in a European place is taking more points away from home. Having said that, that was one of our more winnable games out of the first 7 games. Celtic (H), St Mirren (A), Hibs (H), Hearts (A), County (H) & Rangers (A). Difficult start and do feel we need to be on 10+ points after we've been at Ibrox. Quite hard to see us doing that now. -
Don't support either of those teams, chief. Having sizeable away supports is what makes football different from other sports. Creating an atmosphere is what all clubs in this country are trying to achieve. There are probably only two clubs in the current top flight that couldn't fill that quota of 650. I hate the fact that there are a number of clubs reducing the allocation for away fans. Scottish football fans genuinely slate the EPL. However, they have minimum away allocations and capped away ticket prices, whilst we have this.

Probably contrary to popular opinion but I think that's a better strip than last year's. Very good. -
The Famous Aberdeen - Season 2022/23

That Dave Cormack tweet Never seen so many Aaron Fraser speccies reeled in by it. The vast majority of replies about having bigger attendances and more season tickets. The Hearts wetwipes didn't sell out Tynecastle once this season. To add to that, all these supporters weren't enough to stop the club going into financial oblivion a decade ago Glorious stuff. -

El Mizouni is a player I really rate. Both times I've seen him he's been really efficient with the ball in a holding midfield role. Key in Orients success this season. Statistically, he's decent defensively with 1.7 interceptions and 2.9 tackles per game. -
The Famous Aberdeen’s European Tour 2023/24
Irrational Behaviour replied to Frank Grimes's topic in Scots in Europe
We need 8 association trained players in our squad for Europe. Going to be interesting to see how we achieve that. I'd imagine that Devlin won't be the only Scottish player we sign. -
The Big Relegation Thread

Hi all, I think it would be greatly received by the rest of the clubs if United, County, Killie and St J finished on 38 points on the final day of the season. Alternatively, if all four clubs could go into matchday 38 all on the same points then that would be welcomed too. All math checks out and both options are doable (I think). Thanks again, Irrational Behaviour -

Stick on red, chief. Absolutely deluded saying otherwise. -
The Famous Aberdeen - Season 2022/23

That's 5 out of the last 6 games where we've had big decisions go against us. Funnily enough, the only game where we didn't have anything go against us was the **** at home. Simply has to stop. -
Post split fixtures

We'll get top two and Hearts straight up. Authorities know we're missing Shinnie and don't want us 3rd. -

We've had a shocking season decisions wise. Enough to make me stop going. Why do we bother? Looking forward to the Rangers employee officiating our game on Sunday for the 2nd game in a row. -
Ross County vs Aberdeen
Irrational Behaviour replied to betting competition's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
Haven't been this angry after a win since Collum's display against Accies back in the 2014/2015 season. We've had some shockers against us this season. The authorities clearly don't want a successful Aberdeen side. Those decisions last night could do us out of millions of pounds. Absolutely no way Shinnie's card gets overturned particularly when we play the flag humpers next week. Bin VAR and employ referees who aren't all from the central belt. -
Aberdeen's Next Permanent Manager
Irrational Behaviour replied to Ludo*1's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
Absolutely no point in a DOF if we can't sign players for the club regardless of whether our head coach position is filled or or not. We have a philosophy of identifying young players (project players) and players who fit into the attractive style of football (Aberdeen way or whatever that means). I'm not one for advocating Robson getting the role but the more games he gets will give us that sample size required. -
Aberdeen's Next Permanent Manager
Irrational Behaviour replied to Ludo*1's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
I hear what people are saying regarding player recruitment. However, I'd like to think we're cracking on with that irrespective of who's in charge. My other point would be that I'd wager our business will have to come during the latter stages of the summer anyway. There's a good chance there will be an offer too good refuse for Duk/Miovski or even the potential sales of Ferguson or McKenna may financially benefit us. I think the argument for not appointing Robson is there's not a large enough sample size in terms of games managed. I think this is a perfect opportunity to see what he can do. There's obviously alot to play for so it's still a good experience for Robson.
