Vale of clyde 4 v gartcairn 4...gartcairn 3 up..vale pulled back to 3-3..Cairn edged in front from a corner...Vale scored a well deserved equaliser late on.

Poor 1st half formation didnt suit us. Change of formation and subs at half time made the difference easy win in the end. Agree need more from Rudden. though he is a bit behind in fitness..oh and Foster was shocking.

Mckenna for the 2nd goal..wtf. Time for david Beatties man to step up certainly been well backed by the board.

Cumnock v Petershill scottish cup QF..would be mid 80s...Peasy won 4-1...headed down with my uncle grandfather and cousin on supporters bus think there was maybe 5 left the club.. Memories of game Petershill won easy..but always remember there being a fight in the stand with cumnock fans snd petershill players who had travelled but not played. Buses needed an escort out aswell. I know i was at another QF away to Carnoustie but cant remember much about it apart from Petershill got beat.

Billy Dodds and Collin West were good loans in the 80s..
