Completely agree with this btw, if they are virtually the same player you will always side with the youth product but the responses to them both are at the complete opposite ends of the scale. Said it plenty of times in the past, Crawford is on par with Maguire yet most of our fans were probably happy to see Crawford never play in a well shirt again, Maguire was cut plenty of slack cause he is one of our own. on the topic of season ticket sales, fans being allowed back into the stadium and a follow on from the SIWY fanzine post the other day, there was a part in it about fans not wanting to return to stadiums, they obviously had there reasons for this. Is there anyone who can't see themselves returning to the football? Whether it's down to not feeling safe, how this season has panned out. For me, I can't wait to go back, however I am not overly bothered about being allowed back in, in the same manner Aberdeen and Ross county got to trial before Christmas. That first day back will be a cracker, surely the attendance will be up on the norm for a while?

That is a smashing idea, the Club already does the heavily discounted tickets for kids but there is probably a small gap that it just misses of people who don't quite fall into the kids bracket. With everything going there would almost certainly be a family somewhere very very grateful that their child can go watch the football every other Saturday that couldn't afford it this season for reason or another. I am no expert in that sort of thing but that could be a great idea for people who are able to pay for a full season ticket to donate season tickets to some kids who aren't able to afford.

This is all pure speculation from the fans part, few folk have obviously heard different things. If he is getting a scan then that's fine, very coincidental considering he has barely missed a game for us in 1.5 seasons and is missing the day his extension is set to be triggered. I actually disagree with this, Robinson has said on more than one occasion he won't sign or play players that will stop our own coming through unless of course they are clearly better. Ross Maciver starting against st mirren for eg. I think it's a case of the current crop just not being ready yet.

I am sort of in the same camp as you, don't know a huge deal about the current crop. I know Semple is injured at the moment, as for the others maybe nearing it, Dean cornelius (cm) David Devine and Yussuf Hussain (cb) however all three are only 18, i think there is a small gap now. someone mentioned on some forum that our next drop similar to the one we have just produced is currently the u12's or something like that. you have to bear in mind we lost Mckinstry and Mcalear before we got a chance to see them who would be in this current crop.

How up to date that list is I am not sure, Liam Grimshaw still on it for example. Few players you would obviously take, pittman and maybe less so lawless at Livi however i suspect they would have much better offers on the table than us, Lawless maybe the only player we have let go in the last 15 years that you could say has been a success? probably quite an unpopular opinion but Gogic loves doing the dirty work at accies, we could do much worse, templeton too but I reckon he quite enjoys being at accies and he isn't getting any younger Championship wise, we were linked with Daniel Harvie of Ayr a while back who is also out of contract, a left back.
