  1. someone started a Kit threaded last season and I fairly enjoyed it...everyone batter in, showcase the new kits for 19/20 season.
  2. according to wikipedia (which isn't gospel of course) he joined motherwell at a young age, even still I don't think i have ever heard of him reffered to as a hearts youngster? GMS at ross county is a mile out as well imo.
  3. Ek Athletic, part of the Sunday central, championship, are on the look out for a striker. Finished just short of the top 3 in the past two seasons in a very competitive league, few very strong teams in the division and hoping to add some quality up top to make a push for the top.
  4. If you have got Stephen Dobbie at Hibs surely James Mcfadden in the Motherwell squad? similar era's also, Steven Hammell as well, surely has to be in there.
  5. lot's of debt is a bit far fetched as far as i'm aware, not 100% sure what the figure is at but I am sure I read somewhere that without taking any transfer fee from Turnbull into consideration the debt would be cleared, taking into consideration Hastie, Kipre's sale and Mckinstry as well, and the albeit slim chance of cadden's dev fee.
  6. I was almost certain Tanner got injured in october, no idea what I based that on right enough. Happy to have been proved wrong though and I now agree with your point even more haha!!
  7. I don't think Main ever played with Craig Tanner, Main never came in until January by which time Tanner was already injured? that said, i agree with you.
  8. A club like Derby under Lampard you would think would be the ideal place to develop, playing under a manager who was thee goal scoring midfielder, Lampard also relied heavily on youth, mason mount, Harry Wilson and it stood him well for the most part.
  9. no call up for David Turnbull, disappointing when you look at some of the call ups.
  10. Would tie in with the non league enviroment to an extent as they have just been relegated to the national league.
  11. I reckon if Turnbull was to go this summer, we will see him back on loan for the season as part of the deal, we should be pulling out trees to make sure that is part of the deal.
  12. Gorrin Flying into challenges already on a booking will be sorely missed.
  13. on that note, have Motherwell let anyone go in the last, say 20 years that we have regretted? Is lawless the only one who you'd be inclined to say could probably have done a job for us at one point. also after listening to Si ferry's interview with Steven Fletcher, I had no idea he was on the books with us before Hibs.
  14. Seen a mention on SO that the bottom half of the south stand is sold out for saturday, maybe a half decent crowd on the cards if true?
  15. How has Shea Gordon been with Thistle? He seemed to be one of the top performers at motherwell u20s, made a few first team appearances and was sent out on loan with a view to getting him up to speed (Hastie style) seems to have done okay since coming back into the frame after a 6 month lay off.
  16. I am fully convinced he is what we need, sign him up !! Is the free kick from the ridiculous angle, the game that guaranteed our survival hence the fairly healthy crowd in the cooper?
  17. would welcome Gboly back in a second, someone that will put the ball through three defenders legs, go back and do it again, take it round the keeper and still manage to hit the post. Great player to watch on his day.
  18. any idea on who the new signing is? English leagues don't finish until next saturday and the statement obviously rules out ousmane fane.....for now.
  19. Maybe we do have our top prospects signed though in Turnbull, Scott and Maguire? someone mentioned having Scott been offered a better contract than Hastie as, even after his purple patch, Scott was the better prospect.
  20. Noticed on twitter Braidhurst had a few former pupils back, Jamie Semple and a few others. Anyway, Kyle Connell was one of them who was an ex well player now playing with Blackburn Rovers.
  21. There are some reasonable posts, unfortunately overshadowed by the utterly ridiculous. I feel sorry for the fan who thinks they have our real prospect. With regards to the arrogance, I can't stand the ' if we want them they will come ' attitude they all have. fortunately for us the one crumb of comfort about Turnbull leaving, when the day comes, is that he is destined for far bigger than the SPFL, old firm included.
  22. Is that the article that Aldred says Turnbull is the best player he has ever played with? not sure how much of a compliment that is cause I couldn't be sure what other players he has played with right enough.
  23. https://www.followfollow.com/forum/threads/david-turnbull.72945/ If anyone fancies a good chuckle, here is how Rangers are going to take David Turnbull from cash strapped Motherwell for between 500k-1M and loan him back to us for two years but they aren't sure if he is better than Greg Docherty.
  24. was there not murmers at the time though that Jake Hastie wasn't actually one of the top prospects, Turnbull Maguire and Scott were ahead of him in that regards? I recall seeing someone say that James Scott was offered better terms than Hastie. All rumours at the end of the day but maybe we have indeed got our 3 brightest prospects tied down and we as fans just haven't seen all 3 yet.
