Mo Ross Mo problems

I'm wary of his past and have been asked "why him?" by fans of other clubs. He could turn into a proper Malky Mackay wannabe as the years go on, but hopefully not and hopefully he lets his managerial skill do the talking.

I'm not sold on Maurice Ross yet. Making a weird comment about one of your own players is one thing, but resigning before you can be punished shows a lack of class and professionalism IMO. If he can deliver results and get us challenging for a top 4 place in his first full season then I'll print this post out and eat it.

I'm just hoping the country doesn't go into panic mode if we don't give this lot a skelping. There's a fair list of teams in Euro 2020 that have had pish friendly results (Wales 0-0 Albania, Ukraine 1-1 Bahrain, Croatia 1-1 Armenia, Finland 0-1 Estonia, Belgium 1-1 Greece, Turkey 0-0 Guinea), yet the general consensus is that it doesn't matter because it's just a friendly, that it's more important to keep fitness high than to try winning by cricket scores. Yes we're objectively better than Luxembourg and a win is the target, but if we don't beat a team that have a good run of form behind them all things considered then the last thing that the likes of Billy Gilmour and Nathan Patterson need are dinosaurs that haven't kicked a ball in 20-30 years rushing to tell the tabloids that none of the current squad are fit to wear the shirt.

I mind watching an episode of RAW (or maybe Smackdown) from 2005 where they showed footage from their international tour and I spotted Rey Mysterio wearing an Aberdeen shirt, unfortunately I can't find a picture. Wonder if Rey Mysterio kept that shirt throughout the years.
