  1. It might open up some better players who can't manage their work around a League 2 calender but it find it easier to play LL, maybe on less money too
  2. Click where it says 'follow' at the bottom and you'll get notifications, then change your settings so you get an alert if anyone posts. It's just pished it down here for a while
  3. Doubt it, they seem happy with the income boost and have plans to reinvest. I'd probably say Stranraer if I was guessing
  4. I totally agree, but were Mosley, Bernie and Whiteing any less corrupt? I'm an old school fan, but there were so many dodgy decisions and moments in the 80's and 90's that would cause twitter to meltdown and a million court appearances. Sienna's penalty, then non-penalty the year after Schumacher being allowed to take a drive through penalty after the finish line All the nonsense around spygate and crashgate I prefer not to get hung up on the politics and just enjoy the absolute carnage! It's all wrong but I try not to look that way
  5. It seems to be a good idea, but about 3 steps out of sequence. There are a few other things that should've been in place to make it work better. I don't want to discourage the change as I agree having them under the SAFA is a good step, but you are right about it creating another barrier between the leagues. It will be interesting to see how things settle down once the link up with the WoS happens. I still have a lot of questions there
  6. Are the Under 21 and under 19 teams being allowed in the league helping at all? Is it better than the alternative for the youth teams?
  7. I didn't see any point to your post, that's why I questioned it. You have been around LL grounds Some are good some are bad Then some tinfoil shit at the bottom accusing the OP of being in some sort of cult I was just a bit confused.
  8. Are they allowed to sign players so late in the season? It is all just pure amateur league stuff
  9. Settle down. The only dafty cult is going on in your head, the rest of us are just here for football and to take the piss out of Darvel
  10. Can nobody compliment the Lowland League without you getting all defensive? You are the only person still bleating on about this
  11. I'm sure they'll all be queuing up to help out in the middle of winter when the club need them most when they are all bored and not bothering going to every game
  12. It's actually getting annoying how good the Avs are, I really hope Carolina roast them in the final... But the Avs will probably come back from 3-0 in games and a goal behind with 30secs left to win the cup. It's almost inevitable now. At least Ottawa understand banter, this is how you finish a shootout... https://youtube.com/shorts/IfZzpDleB7M?si=9XIxISkQ89a6hLpW
  13. Still a couple of cheating c**ts
  14. This is literally the 1st rugby I have watched since that France game
  15. Italian boy got himself into trouble there
  16. That's who I meant, must pay more attention! Coyotes are now allowed to 'bid' on the land, another 3-5 years in limbo. You can tell the players are already fed up with it already, I can sense yet another tear-down before things get better. In happier news, Mon the Sabres! Would be brilliant if they sneaked into the playoff, UPL and Byrom getting a chance to shine
  17. The same clubs that voted to add Threave to a league that already had Campbeltown in it? If they wanted the Junior style, they wouldn't have allowed this surely
  18. There still should always be a space for them to join whenever they (just using Annbank as an example) are ready and meet ALL requirements
  19. At the end of the day, it was the WoS that were quite happy to accept half arsed applications from teams without their own facilities and with no intention to grow their clubs within their own area. Basically just using a name for recognition but only interested in pumping money into player wages rather than growing the club. They were happy to accept applications from the SoS region. Now they are closing the door using the “volunteers” excuse for not being able to functionally run the league properly. As the bottom wrung of the system, there should ALWAYS be space for new, well organised applications from their own catchment area to join the league at any time. If they didn’t rush to fill the league with teams that have absolutely no grounding or foundations, then they would not be in the position of having to turn down good clubs like Annbank if they wanting back in next season. Every other league in this system always allow applicants to join for the next season if they are ready to go (suitable ground to play), only the West Region is different
  20. How my season has ended... Have to say my heart is leading me to Dallas for the rest of the season. I loved the Avs when I was young (Sakic, Forsberg, Roy, etc), but they were always at the top and I get bored easy, so picked myself a diddy team when I grew up! It'll be worth it when we win a cup though
  21. Do you ever watch the DNVR coverage on YouTube? It's the same company that do PHNX for the Coyotes. Cant remember the guy's name but they got an old goalie on that's always worth a listen.
  22. Yeah it was a bit tongue in cheek, I know Byrom was a bit wasted at the Avs and needed a fresh start. It's a dangerous move but I hope it works out for him. I'm completely on the fence on Middlestadt. Everyone you hear says the complete opposite about him, he'll either be a superstar or he's already maxed out. He fills a gap though, not as good as Kerfy (or Bjugstad) would have filled it but I think the Coyotes were asking for 30% of Denver for him!
