I took in this game as Shire were away, and I have to say that your comments are slightly skewed. The Bo’ness players appeared to be “theatrical” in their attempts to win favour with the ref, half the cards weren’t merited. I thought it was a very even game, and neither team could have complained if they had lost. The corner was a bit freakish, but the second goal was superb for BSC. All in all it was entertaining, and that was just listening to the home fans.

The BSC / Cumbernauld Colts model (kids to senior) is excellent. We need more clubs like this. However, BSC not having a ground and rattling about 30 miles from their stamping ground is simply taking the piss. I'm not making any comment about how (very) successful they are on the park. Absolutely, but if the rumours are true over the level of wages being paid, then Kelty are on a different level. As I have previously said, good luck to them.
