    there is footage on youtube filmed from amongst the cowden fans, what it doesn't show is the rugby tackle on the cover keeper which ultimately (and of course wrongfully but understandable all the same) led to the poor behaviour referenced above. another aberdeen poster on here anti-cove - wonder if he/she would like to explain why?

    The noises come out of cove, with or without megginson, is that they're not going to sit back and contain ..best price cove for the 2nd leg was evens, best now is 10/11 so either the money is coming or the bookies also watched the highlights...i think majority if not all of BRFC fans have accepted their fate, it's mostly cowden who are hoping for a turnround..

    fairly sure I'd pick cove to finish higher than elgin next season...HL will be interesting next year, still not convinced brora want promotion but formartine, buckie and locos will all believe they have a chance of not only winning HL but promotion next time round

    cove evens tae win saturday, given they're a better team and the gloom and doom surrounding berwick, price is very tempting albeit cove probably believe tie is over, another goal would seal it for sure

    actually i was there with two Livi fans who had absolutely no allegiance - my only allegiance is being from aberdeenshire but that was first time i'd ever seen cove or indeed cowdenbeath..the Livi guys, nae exactly youngsters, said it was the worst ref performance they'd seen...of course if cove had scored one of their many chances in first leg (wasn't there but watched the footage) it wouldn't have mattered...pretty sure cove will go up and hopefully take 12 points off cowden next season

    He collided with a Cowden player at the edge of the box as he was clearing the ball. an unbiased view fae a Cowden fan...lol..he was rugby tackled, nae wonder couldnae get back in position,,,and as for the stramash at the end, sure a bad tackle but the over reaction of the cowden bench was the lighter fuel

    Cove had made absolutely no secret of their desire to be promoted into L2 - in fact for several years they've had a 'project' to that effect, name of which escapes me for now, with a significant milestone being their new stadium, interesting to see what the crowd is tomorrow after more than 1000 at the EK game. As all the Cowden on here know, Cove would have gone up last year without the (lack of) intervention by the ref

    are you sure about Fyvie to Cove? The position of the Cowden fan base ref Cove is due in no small part to their knowing that the ref kept them in the game/league with absolutely shocking performance in the second leg, they can go on about it being 0-0 in 1st leg but that was just one of those days when the best team can't buy a goal. on this forum there's some who would like to see Cove (and EK beforehand) promoted as they were less likely to wait around in lower divisions happy to survive on handouts etc and there are others (above) who are perhaps a little jealous of the sound financial position of other teams who they know will challenge hard when and if they enter the league. City of Aberdeen won't actually have a senior team when the Dons move to Westhill, Aberdeenshire and not sure how you can state that the city doesn't need another senior team - Dundee with smaller population and less wealth has had 2 for decades!! Cove fans (and those of future teams trying to enter via pyramid) will have as much affection and loyalty to their teams as those who (oftentimes due to the lack of relegation from leagues) have bounced around in the lower leagues so get rid of the history snobbery please.... and cowden fans, the refs won't always be on your side...
