  1. I hope at the AGM that the pressure on Bartley isn't taking away the focus on what a absolute shit show Hewitson and co have made of our club. Get this board out!! A change of manger is merely a sticking plaster. A Queen's managerial job is a job set up for failure. Evidence: 4 managers in, continued decline.
  2. There's a difference between say a player not covering properly, back to goal deflections etc etc criticism then fair enough but a complete miscommunication and a player sticking a leg out in the box, that is just obvious individual errors and Bartley can't be held accountable for this.
  3. Who else can you blame for that yesterday other than the players? And it's there on screen, just playground stuff. As for Sandra the way it's going Queens will just pull these interviews altogether.
  4. Would the board even care if we dropped to league 2? They certainly didn't give a shit us being relegated to this diversion and now with part time football around the corner would save even more cash till eventually the whole lot gets condemned and we can build houses on it...
  5. That's exactly the problem because who else takes charge ? Only person I can think of is Todd then if he does ok,,..the rest we can predict
  6. Sack him now and we'll end up with another new caretaker manager bounce and repeat the same managerial appointment disasters of the last two seasons.
  7. Buck stops with Bartley but the regime is the reason why we are witnessing this pish and I can't see it getting any better till Billy the wonder chairman does the right thing and disappears
  8. Nothing as it's the AGM next week and if he sacks him they'll be no one to do the talky bits.
  9. How can he keep it in house though when part of the punishment was to be dropped from the starting 11? If Bartley refused to comment about it folk would be moaning about a potential rift or wanting to know why. At the end of the day it's the player(s) fault. Bartley rightly comes in for criticism for the situation we are in but the players seem to be getting away with it a bit too easily.
  10. Imo the club saw pound signs with the Lyndon Dykes move and decided the best route to take the club forward was by developing young players. The advantage was their wages are peanuts and if they do well you can flog them on and make some money. Never in a million years was the priority to assemble a squad to push for promotion.
  11. Not at full time level no but if he was to get sacked with us he'd certainly have even less of a chance. I think consideration would be taken as to how shit a job Queens is as well. 4 managers on the bounce without any success tells us this.
  12. We're good at getting rid of managers with excuses. They'll probably come to some agreement which limits damage on both sides unless there's a clause in his contract. Can't see him stopping on being a full time manager of a part time team.
  13. Lets be honest, he's flogging a dead horse. He knows it, we know it. Nothings going to change with this gang so it doesn't matter what he says or tries to do, it's a lost cause. The good thing for him is, if we do go part time he can part ways with the club without having a sacking attached to his CV using the full time manager to part time as a excuse, win win for both parties.
  14. We thought we might get promoted last season and we didn't. We thought we would be at least pushing for the play offs this season and we aren't. To think we might be a decent part time outfit is extremely wishful thinking , again.. When we were "good" part time we had investment thrown at it. Prior to the Connolly years it wasn't great either.
  15. Queens is just a waste of time. Shite football in a shite league, zero ambition and only more shitness to look forward to going part time next season.
  16. At the end of the day everyone recognises it could be better but it's clear there just isn't the fan support for a change of board or Chairman.
  17. I thought he sold his shares to Hewitson? I looked on company house and couldn't see Davie Rae listed
  18. You don't keep someone in a position if they're running a company into the ground just because you "might" not find a alternative. No one's going near the club while ever Hewitson is in charge. We don't necessarily need a multi millionaire either. Just some communication, leadership, a level of ambition, fresh ideas and bringing some community spirit back into the club.
  19. Agree. They don't deserve to be in position for the way they've taken the club backwards and no signs of the demise stopping.
  20. Don't understand why there isn't any pressure on the board and chairman after this potential part time announcement.
  21. Going part time will just be another legacy of Hewitsons destruction of the club. The problem is easy to see and that is the squad lack experience. It's a young team through choice not because we can't attract players. Ditch this regime, bring in mostly experience and develop young players around them and we'll come good. We do actually have some half decent young players but they just lack consistency. As already been mentioned, the loss of Wilson really hit this team. Big loss which we never replaced.
  22. Telling the manager after he had announced publicly he was hoping to bring in some players does.
  23. Loan, contract what ever. Basically approx 4 months wages. Everyone else seems to mange ok.
  24. Imo let him bring 3 or 4 new players in. We only have to pay them 4 months wages. If it turns the team around then it saves Bartley's job, saves us having to pay him off and lays foundations for next season. If it goes wrong then yes it's cost us money but it's going to do that anyway paying the manger and assistant off come the end of the season and then rebuilding again next season. There is clearly a lack of communication between board and manger as two weeks ago he was saying he was hoping to bring a few players in then last week he said it's effectively one out one in. So he blew the entire budget at the start of the season but no one told him that's your lot. That's pretty shit going and shows no business plan. Yes I understand the logic of seeing out the season but it's not going to be for the benefit of a promotion push next season, not with this shower in charge. Bad decisions are costing the club. Naysmith, Johnston, Gibson and now looking like Bartley.
