  1. The Trump campaign has no announced he expects a 5% cut of all fundraising if you mention his name (checks notes). Well, actual,y it was 5% minimum, with higher percentages looked favorably upon, and failure to pay resulting in cease and desist notices and possible action. This from a campaign that has used musicians intellectual property, despite cease and desist notices, at its rallies for years.
  2. Wrong couple divorced…and the husband seems to be happy…
  3. Estimated $2B…they’re guessing, the White House has said otherwise. Just saying, read further before blasting, eh?
  4. New rumor. If a motion to vacate is moved forward a number of Republicans in the House will immediately resign. This would throw the Speakership to the Democrats. Then the newly Democratic House and Senate could vote, in line with the Supreme Court ruling, to declare Trump an insurrectionist and he’s off the ballot in all States and territories. Now, this is completely unconfirmed, but reported to be circulating on the Hill. It would explain Trump’s sudden coziness with/support of Johnson. That is Mitch McConnell level s**t if it’s what Johnson is doing.
  5. You'd be wrong, in this particular case. There is literally no way to enforce a perpetuity clause under U.S. law, even with the kids/inheritor (other than a second primary owner) named on the deed. The filing of a disclaimer of interest, if you somehow got named, with the probate court can block the timeshare owner from trying to collect anything other than the right to the timeshare. Some timeshare companies push to put kids on the deeds and to get the payments from the kids accounts as the parent ages, in the hope of bulldozing the kids when the parent croak, but the laws are (marginally) on the kids side.
  6. $26B is $14B for Israel, $9B for Gaza relief and $3B for U.S. operations in the area (construction of quay, airdrop operations and stuff like that) Still want $0B? You gotta understand stuff before you knee jerk on it...just saying.
  7. Amendment proposed to the Aid Bill to rename Majorie Taylor Greene's Office the Neville Chamberlain Room...sadly, it doesn't look like it passed.
  8. There's only $14B in the recently passed aid bill.
  9. Passing the Senate is a formality, and may happen tomorrow. It's not a loan, it's aid. Generally, that aid is given effectively as a credit card to use at U.S. contractors and the DoD. Trump's been slipping in the polls for months, and is now either even or behind in most recent polls...however, of course, polls right now don't mean d**k. As for the question, yes, it's authorized and designated.
  10. There are many things that stay with us longer than we'd expect and have more impact than we considered, and your experience is certainly one of those. The good news is it's also given you some perspective that you applied to the later stuff that was dropped from the quote. I had a mentally horrendous year when I turned 42, simply because that's the age my dad died at from a heart attack. It was very strange, and I knew no one that could relate in any manner. As for psychopaths, especially gaslighting ones, they are entirely too common, and your recognizing the actions is a huge plus for your mental health! Stay well!
  11. Nah, if Partick do DU 36-0 on the last day, we”d only need a few, maybe 5-2 or so.
  12. And we have a little more clarity with just two matches to go... With the win over Ayr, DU have a point total that Raith can only match, and a 36 goal lead...it would unmatched be insanity if they lost it now. So, DU have won the league, and Raith are second. Partick and Airdrie round out the playoff spots, with Partick very likely to take third due to a 3 point and 10 goal lead. So that leaves the relegation playoff spot, because Arbroath are already confirmed as through the trapdoor. Morton are safe, just. Dunfermline are effectively safe and Ayr are almost as secure. That leaves ICT and Queen's Park fighting it out...ICT with the slight advantage, but the run in is perhaps slightly in Queen's Parks favor. It will be very interesting to see how teams approach these last few matches, as despite being either secure or pretty secure, 5 versus 7 is worth about £45k.
  13. Airdrie 1 - 3 DU Arbroath 1 - 3 Queen's Park Dunfermline 3 - 1 ICT Morton 1 - 3 Raith Partick 3 - 1 Ayr
  14. Second to last week, and Friday night again... Friday, 26 April: Airdrie vs DU Saturday, 27 April: Arbroath vs Queen's Park Dunfermline vs ICT Morton vs Raith Partick vs Ayr
  15. A crazy number of people got the exact score for the Arbroath v Morton match, but otherwise we showed why the bookies stay in business! This weeks high scorers were @L. Brilliant and @mcjameos, both with 6 points. In first, @mcjameos moves to 111 points, gaining a single point extra space from... In second, @Chapelhall chap with 109 points, and still clearly in the race... Meanwhile, in third, @williebraveheart is not eliminated yet, but needs a supreme effort at 104 points. 16. If Arbroath lose next week, they need one point from us to make about the average points for a 10th place team. We’re entirely capable of providing them that point, if not more.
  17. But we close with Arbroath…
  18. Technically, no…effectively (and then some), yes.
  19. The number of companies that advertise to help people get out of timeshare contracts makes me wonder about the lack of fires, explosions and other “acts of God” at timeshares themselves. Could it be the companies selling the damn things are just another arm of the exit companies, just all bleeding their victims of every penny they can?
  20. Just verify it’s more than one surface or rotor. Always possible a caliper has hung up or a pad has seized in contact. Unlikely, as a glowing red brake would probably have gained your attention, but worth being sure.
  21. Any attempts are this sort of thing in the more affluent suburbs run into the “But I have to be able to get in touch with Deirdre in case Chas shoots up the school” parent revolts. The more, shall we say, rugged districts have had some luck with locking pouches, but they’re fooling themselves if they think they don’t have ways around it (surreptitiously linked devices, burner phones, “extra” phones, etc).
  22. You’re all missing the obvious connections…the “Woke” left has been trying to remove gas kitchen appliances and BBQ’s for years now. So is it coincidence that a person immolates themselves outside the Trump trial, such that they will obviously push for a ban of flammable liquids, solids and gases, as well a lighters? They are all part of a shadow conspiracy to hook the planet’s youth on vape liquids secretly laced with mind-control drugs, drugs that can’t be placed in cigarettes! That’s why they don’t want disposable vapes, they’re harder to poison!
  23. That’s 18 one goal wins, so most ever in a 36 match season. Also, 18 of the 19 wins by one. Two matches left, unlikely to surpass Celtic’s 19, as I can see at least the Arbroath match being a bloodbath one way or the other.
