It appears on mine too but only on some pages. That menu has also always been a tad temperamental though. Also now https://euro2024-resale.tickets.uefa.com/ is locked again, where it previously this week you could enter, or for months it showed an error. There was a big sale in the last few hours today with all matches, but it stopped abruptly for half an hour and now all traditional links to the portals just show a long queue.

I don't think it would have been anything to do with the Slovakian FA. More just the best way to get rid of unsold Slovakian tickets at this stage, given they are currently probably the lowest supported team in a pretty unattractive group if you aren't from Belgium/Romania. As you saw elsewhere, there were people on Thursday who received offers as "fans of" Slovakia but this was likely unrelated to Wednesday. Wednesday was definitely to do with the resale platform. You could see in the background that ticket availability had changed and were being added in preparation for the opening later on. Plus in those hours of the queue on the usual link, the resale link was open, with no queue, although you couldn't add any tickets up for resale at that time. So once again, if anyone is still considering buying tickets from a tout website and hasn't already done so, really hold off and wait for the resale platform unless you enjoy throwing money away.

Are these airbnbs close enough to be within each host city's regional catchment area for local transport (ie. as part of the 36 hour included regional travel)? If you are only using the train to go to the host city from your airbnb, then most is included with the 36 hours? Depends on your other plans on non match day if they were to involve local trains, but maybe the 49 euro would not be worth it? Google city/town name and cross-reference it with the transport network on the relevant map on the "ticket holders travel benefits" website, but most likely it is part of it. However if you say the place is 40km out of Munich it may not be tbf, though you were recommended the MVV app so it sounds like it is. 500,000 ticket requests is not equal to 500,000 applicants but sure. We won't know until it happens but let's see how many people here end up having success on the resale platform later on. Not certain about anything, just think it's very much too early to be throwing in the towel and buying from the touts when (SFA tickets aside) we've only had one blind ballot, one heavily subscribed ballot, both where nothing is in your control, and then finally the resale platform where everything is in your hands. My opinion though is that if we were to quantify your chances of getting the game on the resale portal it is much higher than 0.1& or 1%. But if you have extra cash to burn, or no time, then go for it.

Why the day or two days before? Tickets from UEFA come roughly three weeks before in most cases for group matches, sometimes slightly shorter sometimes longer. If the seller on the tout website is legit they (the scummy piece of sh*te) too will send it in a timely manner as they probably have lots of tickets to deal with. Then once you have it on your mobile ticketing app, there are zero problems from then on. But for me, no need to pay touts for something I can find myself. But I understand if you don't have the desire or patience or ability for the official resale platform, and to queue in any last minute sales situation. No judgement though, it's whatever you are comfortable to pay for access to the same football game whether it's 30/60 euro, the dearer categories, way above face value for the same ticket, hospitality etc. as long as you are there

The 30th was the general expectation across the community too. But yesterday in the source code it changed to reveal an initial payment deadline of the 29th (and usually this then gets extended by a few days after the deadline expires). Unless it was just some sort of placeholder, this would point to a reveal by Friday as you say. Good luck to all, whenever it ends up being.

I'd much rather pay the extra for ICE over Flix though in most cases. 29.90 is an absolute bargain for an ICE train especially when travelling more than 3 hours you really feel the difference.

There are one or two properly moderated FB groups that do a good job as a place to safely trade tickets, or places such as BigSoccer forum which are mostly safe aside from a few people. But I'd personally hold tight for now. It's an awkward time to make a deal and in most cases unless the perfect offer came along from someone super reliable (eg. trustworthy, good track record and won't go back on their word) you may as well wait the five weeks until everyone has their next ballot results and then there will be loads of spares flying around.

Yes definitely. Know your way around the website, and have a first and second option . For the popular days, the trains even sell out after a few minutes (or the price increases). The prices are higher than expected as some people had already bought them as part of group bookings (which have been open for longer) or a few other booking tricks.

It comes down to what you need and if you like to walk around the train often. Maybe aisle maybe on a table? If it's an after midnight one and you want to sleep then maybe window. A carriage closer to the restaurant cart if you plan to want to use it. Also is important if it's anyone's first time is just to look in advance on the platform where your carriage will line up once the train gets there. It will be on the electronic destination signs, and/or on a board somewhere on platform. Yes it's common sense for most people but if you've never taken a train like that before it saves you having to rush to the carriage (or miss it, just get on), especially when the train is only at platform for 40 seconds in some cases.

Many people on the very popular german football tickets forum (the last two midnights have been popular booking times for them too for heading to the opener from various locales) have also noticed that not all the trains started at the rock bottom saver price. One reason may be because certain routes aren't yet finalised for how long the carriages will be. And of course to be quick as the prices go up after a few minutes. It's my turn to try tonight so let's see how it goes. I just want one or two important train bookings made at this price but will wait for the football trains on Jan 17th for the rest of bookings. And yes, I would hesitate to book a 5 minute change. I take the ICE all the time around that part of Germany and half the time you end up with a ten minute delay for whatever reason as for example somewhere you had to wait for a late train to pass on the track if you aren't late departing yourself. I'd be happy with 15 or 20 minutes minimum. Pick up a pretzel or something from the station bakery and then wait for the next train.

The one sort of thing that may catch those out that are familiar with the region and the usual travel areas, is that for EURO they have combined the VRR and VRS travel regions. Usually these are separate and you need to really be aware of which city/town is in each when going to any club football and using the included travel, but for EURO a ticket to a match in either Gelsenkirchen, Dortmund, Dusseldorf, Cologne is enough to go between either of the two transport regions during the 36 hours (6am matchday til 6pm the following day). You're right in there being no free transport for you that early. Preferably book on https://int.bahn.de/en or https://www.nsinternational.com/ these are the national carriers. The 2nd link you can even set reminder emails (I do one for the date before the day I want to travel too). Indeed you will know the two teams who are playing in that match, and yes it can be two teams from any two pots that end up in group e. It will be very clear and obvious when watching the draw, though the kickoff time will be likely released hours later.

Thank you for the Neuss recommendation. It wasn't open for booking back when I did most accomodation reservations but it's definitely a little easier than the Dusseldorf option I have booked for a few separate blocks of dates. Can cancel those one now. Stuttgart is the only place I never booked Accommodation for any matches. I wonder if I'll end up being sent there after Saturday evening's draw.

It's definitely possible. I know the Danes and the Dutch supporters clubs both had camping offers in their recent email, and have seen Germans advertising places in small towns near host cities to pitch up tents or park campervans. You definitely won't be alone in the thinking! Would be a fun adventure

While I took took extra care in every account application on a different network, device, address etc., I've seen enough evidence on other popular euro forums to believe it had no impact on ballot results. Yes UEFA have done extensive fingerprinting previously for ballot applications but I'm told by those who "looked under the bonnet" that not everything was there this time. Personally I don't believe the bots story that they ran, or that it was pretty insignificant overall. The ballot results seemed pretty in line with expectations. Most people applying for the big games, weekends, the Western venues, cheaper categories which there are less and less of in this phase. This is the toughest tournament for ticketing since maybe Brazil 14 or Germany 06. UEFA blatantly withholding tickets to a handful of games such as M25 too. Having any success in an application seemed to be at an average of about 5 percent.
