  1. I dont think my workmate gets that no-one wants to hear about her daughters 5th year biology exam much less get a daily update on her study progress and test results. I don't mind people occasionally speaking about their kids, not in the slightest, but theres only so many times I can hold a smile through "Elizabeth got 80% on her past paper last night".
  2. Absolutely class goal by the way, love that you can see Ali think "oo theres space here" as he bursts a gut to get forward, perfectly weighted through-ball from (who else) big Liam Craig and then McCann takes one touch to give himself a bit of time and then one effortless drink over the keeper. Lets enjoy him while he's here lads. If he'd been a United player they'd have sold him to Millwall or Luton by now.
  3. Have to have subscribed before 7pm tonight to watch it Still, like the look of this team for trip to Pittodrie, you'd hope they won't get a lot against us there and if Mayzo nicks a goal against the granite shaggers, bonus!
  4. Just noticed this was on the telly, rooting for the Steelmen tonight, hope yous give Celtic a shock
  5. Hilarious was the wrong word, more peculiar. Either way it feels like this isn't the whole story.
  6. Yes it used to be on a Saturday afternoon after the football.
  7. There's one dude at my office who is in 7:30, leaves at around half 6 and is known to come in on Saturdays. It is what it is, some people maybe just don't like having free time.
  8. Me. Once the pay stops so does my (lol) labour
  9. I like both shows/podcasts, Simons interview with Michael Stewart was a great listen this week. Can totally understand why folk find the keeping the ball on the ground show abrasive but I always enjoy the 1-to-1 interviews Ferry does. Plenty room for both Terrace and Open Goal in Scottish football coverage.
  10. There's a young couple at my work who are a couple and work in the same department. They are both really nice but Jesus i can't imagine that situation of constantly being around your partner.
  11. That sounds like a cheap but decent lunch to be fair
  12. Mivhael Stewart is certainly a better footballer than every poster on here and probably smarter than the majority.
  13. Boy at my work has a spaghetti carbonara microwave meal from m and s every single day for lunch. Also the kind to throw around 50 quid bets. Its just not a good way to live.
  14. I dont even care if we win, please just don't let Chris Kane near the pitch.
  15. average is fine, at least its better than Kris Kane! edit: I made fun of Chris Kane and then felt bad until I realised he 1 goal this season against Brechin City, the actual worst professional team in our league structure t
  16. Speaking of cheese shops there used to be a cheese shop in Blairgowrie out the Bridge of Cally Road run by the most unwelcoming old couple you could meet, they actively disliked your presence in the shop, cheese absolutely stank out the place as well, either that or or it was the damp. One of them passed away and they shut the shop maybe 10 years ago, shame, they did a smashing selection of ice cream.
  17. Stockbridge is posh as f**k, it has a cricket ground for god sake
  18. I've been banned before, shit happens and sometimes people are just having a bad time of it and vent that frustration in less than ideal ways. Such is online life. I find this forum very lenient and I think that's welcome. Theres kind of a Scottish mentality of things can be a bit shit for people and they need to express that and as long as its not too personal or too frequent its not a big issue. At the end of it everyone on here is a Scottish football fan. That comes with its own tribalism but we are all still just people trying to get through life and if shitposting on an internet forum helps people cope in any way then its doing its job.
  19. I'll be honest Widge I switched over at half time #partimefan
  20. wheres the good stuff tam need it after that pumping Saints were bad, Celtic were on fire the first half, well played lads, cheers for the pay-day
  21. Wallace Duffy at right wing back? Oh well keeps him further away from the goal. C'mon saints!
  22. Glad to see Hendry given a start in a difficult game just a bit wary of his temperament
