  1. Mind when there was an interview with Wright with Stevie Mays photo on the laptop in the background St johnstone are good value for a wee self troll now and then
  2. That's on me, its been so long without football that I read the score like it was American
  3. back up the A90 ya bunch o sheep shaggers, day us a favour and drop in to the Dundee for a shite on the way
  4. No hard feelings for Shaughnessy giving it a go, we all undoubtedly would for the % increase in his wage even if it did mean living in Essex for a year, should have stayed in glorious #Perthshire but oh well, Paisleys like a cultural melting pot of the two at least. Great signing for St Mirren though, would happily have had him back at Mcdiarmid, near 146 games in 4 seasons tells it all, good consistent player who stayed fit and injury free and now that bit more experienced from his time down south. Saints are maybe fortunate in having both Gordon and Kerr in that position (and big man Wallace 'Fuckin' Duffy waiting to sprout his wings) but you can't but help have a little chuckle at another decent player dropping off the conveyor belt of lower league English football.
  5. Saturn. Vastly superior? C'mon now. No they get a 5 second shout-out for their name and a couple of emoticons. Sometimes twitch accounts need a sub to watch past broadcasts but broadly its more about supporting the person you admire rather than getting access to something private.
  6. Keep meaning to ask this question to a PC gamer. I intend to get a good gaming PC eventually but when I visit Twitch I have to admit that the enhanced FPS does hurt my eyes quite a lot. My question is is this because I'm watching it or is this what I can expect from PC gaming? If it's the latter I may always be a console gamer as I expect that would give me headaches. Twitch is just streaming a 720/1080p @50/60hz video capture of a persons game footage, if you have problems with the visuals from that you should have the same problems from watching youtube or probably just looking at any monitor or phone screen.
  7. Jaws for me as well, first thoughts were Jurassic Park and The Shawshank Redemption but gonna give Jaws the nod for being 45 years old!
  8. Wifes been watching a show called S.W.A.T. its utter garbage
  9. Ali 91 is aggressive and opinionated and also quick to pile on anyone he disagrees with usually while swearing and being generally toxic.
  10. I'd lost track in this covid madness world - thank f**k for that!
  11. Ooo are those Death Guard @mathematics thats a sweet model
  12. Haha cheers Dave, some of the painting skills you see online are outrageous, takes some patience, but you can get a half decent look with a couple of techniques, find it oddly relaxing and its been a perfect time killer in lockdown As a wee extra, here is my whole army in all its blood-red glory
  13. Did you ever play The Witness @NotThePars I felt similarly to how you describe Outer Wilds, especially in the fact I was just too dumb to complete it
  14. The Drey Wright move is a rare win for all sides, Saints get a big wage off the ledger, Hibs get a player who makes their team more exciting and Saints get yet another ex pat playing for a team we will be more than capable of beating.
  15. I've hated every Lewis Capaldi song the first time I heard it
  16. I dont mind Lewis Capaldi but it'd be nice if he'd write a follow up to "whiny overly emotional emo song"
  17. I was in holiday in Jersey the week this happened, it just have been the week of the world cuo final, still remember a Van Bronckhurst rocket.
  18. I'm seriously tempted by a season-ticket now. I haven't had one since the 2009-2010 season. Thesedays I just can't be bothered travelling through to Perth, especially now I work there 5 days a week (in theory, yay COVID). Yeah I have access to Sky but its always Aberdeen or Celtic when the cameras are at McDiarmid. It'd be interesting to know if we've ever had a St Johnstone V Hamilton game on TV for example. If its offered on a pvp basis for away games that's something I'd be very happy about. Hats off to fans in Scottish Football who make the trip every 2 weeks but I've always found the idea of an "away day" more appealing than the reality. Other than the 2 Dundee clubs I don't think I've been to a saints away game (in the league) since Falkirk back when they were in the Premiership!
  19. Titanfall 2 is great, the campaign is snappy I think anyone could easily beat it in 6 or so hours and it does a lot thats memorable or unique in that time. That's just the warm-up though the real meat is the mutiplayer, if you are at all into call of duty then Titanfall should click with you. It's got a fantastic feeling of movement with the use of the grapple hook that makes just running about the levels fun. Plus its got a multiplayer mode called Attrition (I think) where its 6v6 people but the maps contain computer controlled soldiers which at least made me feel half decent contributing to the teams points total without just being gunned down by angry 14 year old russians. I've bought The Outer Wilds after hearing so much praise for it but I just don't think its for me, I'm not a huge fan of space themed games to start with and the style of the characters put me off a bit, still got 2 weeks to refund it though so will try and give it another fair shot given all the good things I've heard. Also bought Halo: Master Chief collection. Yet to play it, feel a bit dirty to be honest
  20. Man Donkey Kong looked so incredible back in the day, maybe it was just SNES-envy but I always loved how it looked, never really sat down and played it beyond toying about with emulators back in the day it'd be great to run through it.
  21. Spider man is brilliant, probably the most well done superhero game of recent memory, its got a ton of cool suits, the movement feels incredible, the combat is snappy, it really nails the character on top of just being a fun time. It doesn't overstay its welcome either, I bought it at launch, beat it within a week or two and sold it for about a quid less than I paid. I'd easily recommend it. Controls a bit stranger. Remedy always feel like they can't quite nail the smoothness of how their games control (no pun intended) but its got an intriguing story and the powers you get prop up an otherwise quite tame shooter. I'd recommend playing it on rental or when it goes down in price.
