I tend to agree with you, Forfar appeared to be certain for promotion along with Kelty but the absolute stuttering from the Loons, and Annan of late Stenny could be the team to get promoted, if they can beat 9th in L1.

Matchday! 3rd v 4th 10 points the difference, Edinburgh aren't in great form whereas Forfar on paper are in the better form, however, we all know that we've been poor for ages, despite mediocre results. Harkins seems to be in the starting 11 on the regular again now so that's bad news. What will happen today? I can see a draw 0-0 or 1-1.

As much as 2nd is better for prize money etc. I would prefer 3rd place for the reasons you give. I don't want to drive down to the borders on a Tuesday night, the Saturday is far easier.

Archie Thomas has been injured for awhile and is lacking match fitness, however, he also must've upset Irvine (like Travs) because a not so sharp Archie is still better than a well past it Harkins or an uninterested Hutton. At least Warnock got some minutes today, when him and Grant Anderson (who seems to be continually overlooked - even though he can no longer do 90 minutes) came on we looked better. I wonder if Craig Thomson coming back a shadow of his former self from injury has further contributed to our woeful attack?

Why has Warnock hardly played? He's definitely helped the Loons since he came on.

We got 3 points on Tuesday (albeit Cowdenbeath will feel they deserved something) Albion now, another hopeful 3 points, but with the current form of the Loons it's another I can't call it. A positive is that Daz & Strachan should be back from COVID so Daz will start, Strachan I'm not so sure.

He does have the most assist (granted most of them have been corners leading to Andy's big heed) but he wasn't even in the squad today so he's either injured or out with COVID. Surely he tried to sign someone, the most attacking player he signed was the mysterious Steven Warnock.

We are just lacking ideas at the moment. We need to mix it up somehow, so I'm all for changing the formation!

Surely Strachan and the manager don't get on (much like how Irvine and Travis had a falling out) that has to be the only logical reason for his dropping. I was very happy to see Matty return to the club and at the start of the season it looked like a good goalscorer too, that has now gone by the wayside. Shep is poor too, but not as poor as Matty, currently. Thomson sadly hasn't recreated his form he had before his injury and whilst PJ has moments they are too rare, Grant Anderson is always enjoyable even if he can't manage a 90 minute match anymore. Hutton has been fine since he joined but neither has he added much to the squad. As for Warnock, I assume he's injured but the whole loan has been strange, after all why did it take nearly a week for him to be announced despite being on the bench the game before?

This is grim so far. Elgin in control Forfar doing nothing.

I have no idea about today. Elgin won last week so will they go on a run? Forfar lost last week are we about to go on a slump? What performance will we put out?
