  1. It's really difficult to think of a decent manager who would want to come to us given the mess the club is in at the moment.3rd division football and the shambles at boardroom level.
  2. I've never been to a game this season as due to work I don't go to away games. I honestly thought it would seriously get me down as I thought they would be playing fast, attacking football, plenty of goals and dominating teams. How wrong was I. I will be back, once the ownership issues are sorted but I really feel seperated from club at the moment and it's quite depressing really.
  3. f**k sake, can he sing as he appears to have sod all else going for him !!!
  4. Just wish the Indian bid fronted by Gowzer had been the preferred option as apparently McKinnon was gone if they took over.
  5. My daughter was born at 4.46pm on 3rd August, 1994 and I could remember that by 7.20pm on that date I was at Brockville but I could never remember who we played or what the score was. Just checked the better meddle site and it was Luton Town and we lost 3-1. As said before it is an excellent database which I was unaware of.
  6. This is me totally, I actually thought there was something wrong with me. I started getting taken to games by my Dad early 70's and my memory of games/players etc is horrendous. Even like the 80's/90's I struggle with remembering stuff.
  7. Got my email yesterday. Was nice of Bucky to contact me personally [emoji1787][emoji1787]
  8. The Bunnymen were superb last night. First time at Kelvingrove Bandstand for a gig and I was really impressed with it. Great view and no big queues at the bar. Was very well run.
  9. Totally agree Competition is shite now, we should play our academy players in protest............[emoji2957]
  10. I heard we were 900 down on last season, so it will be 850 now.
  11. Got the Bunnymen at Kelvingrove tomorrow night and weather forecast is for a dry night, thank f**k. Dead Kennedys were immense at The Garage on Sunday night
  12. It was apparently common knowledge that if Gowzers bid won the day then McKinnon was gone with Yogi being one of the names being mentioned to take over.
  13. Totally agree, many on here asked the BTB boys to put out a statement and now they have they are getting slated. I have followed the Bairns for 46 years and I can honestly say, apart from the administration era I have never felt this low towards the club. I am sick of the whole episode, I still haven't renewed my ST and I am not far away from giving up. Nothing ever seems to run smoothly at the club and as fans we constantly get shafted. Why oh why couldn't the board have taken the fans money.
  14. Haven't commented yet as like most I know nothing about the guy so until DD is done we will be none the wiser. The one thing I will say however is with the amount of cock ups they have made in the past seasons, if this does go wrong the msg better go into hiding. With the amount of time they have taken to get us to this stage and the big rolling out of Mark Campbell for it to go anything other than smooth would be the final kick in the baws for us fans.
  15. This is very true. We really don't have much to pinch and if his main reason for purchasing us is to develope the land around the stadium then surely that's a win win as well as it's a soulless stadium at the moment. Think we all just need to wait and see how we all feel about him after tomorrows meetings.
  16. I'm still in the "not sure" camp over the take over. I just pray this guy is the real deal so that I can get the ST renewed. As a fan base I think its high time we had a bit of good fortune as the past few seasons we haven't had our troubles to seek.
  17. As opposed to last season when we had shit players.
  18. Most of the staff are better players than last years imposters.
  19. See they have released the new squad photograph, almost as many staff as players.
  20. It's fine If we are on about the same person, when things go wrong we can just put the club into liquidation, shut it down, get rid of all the loyal staff who have been there for years, wait a short while before starting up again under another name thus getting rid of all debts. The type of thing you would do with say a plumbing company.
  21. I am still behind the btb scheme and if the board/msg were to go ahead and allow the fans to buy a share in the club I would renew my ST.
  22. Because we are the ones that truly care about the club, it's not an ego trip or money maker to the fans
  23. Totally is GB, only one group can remedy it and unfortunately it's not us fans.
