I totally agree with your sentiment but it’s the same posters who continually peddle the negativity. It’s done at times like it’s in the know knowledge that the budget is spent, we won’t be adding to the squad but then when they are challenged they cannot back it up with facts. Im not totally convinced McGlynn is the answer but I’m willing to give him the chance to prove me wrong, I also won’t judge the squad whilst the window is still open and there is still the option of loan signings coming in.

Have you read back this thread, someone posted we have no chance with the current squad. The transfer window isn’t even shut yet.

Exactly, I wonder sometimes why some bother it must be right depressing never having any optimism.

I’ll probably get shot down for this but maybe McGlynn feels young Yeats is worth giving a shot to stake a claim for the RB position or maybe he has another one in mind. Personally I’d like to see some of the younger ones given more of a chance. We were always a club in the past that could develop youngsters and were renowned for giving youth a chance.

I just listened to Jamie’s interview and he said the squad isn’t far off it number wise. We could and probably will see another two or three in. Not seeing any need for panic yet.

I like both strips, there was talk of a limited edition 3rd strip too which I suppose they could wear if there was a clash of colours.

Our new away strip, loving the switch from Puma to O’Neills so far. That’s a cracker.

I’m in work and was trying to post a pic but my gaffer kept looking at me I absolutely love it, too old for strips now but my god I’m tempted. Just noticed all the wee steeples in the design, oooft even better.

I don’t know why but I’ve a feeling we might get a yellow away top based roughly on the 1994 matchwinner kit and the 3rd limited edition kit could be like the chessboard one. That’s just a guess and it might be nothing like them.

They are releasing a limited edition 3rd strip which might not be far away from this.

Wonder if the socks we were wearing last night indicate we are getting a white or yellow away strip with navy shorts and socks

I agree with this, we are renowned for being a fickle support but one thing we definitely do is get behind youth players, give them time and our full support.

These tops that are a bit different like that yellow QOS top are worth buying. In years to come they are the ones folk remember and wished they had got.

The yellow one would be nice if it was just plain yellow, don’t like the pattern in it but can see how folk could take to it.

I’m way past the buying kits stage but I bought one of the new polo shirts and was impressed with the quality of the O’Neill’s stuff. I’ve a mate who’s a Thistle fan and he had said that their stuff was good quality. Hoping for some retro kits as I would probably buy them.

Our new home kit which the majority of us love as it’s based on a 1990’s Hummel kit and is better that the off the peg stuff most suppliers dish out. Away kit out late June/early July and word of a limited edition 3rd top too which could be interesting.

Home top is nice but don’t like that away top, minds me of a custard cream.

I’m off to see them in Berlin in a fortnight, cannot wait.
