I recall a Dunfermline vSt.Mirren game being called off in Tom Hendries day because the saints team were all ill. The game was played a couple of months later . There were no sanctions. I'm sure there are many other similar cases so why is it so different this season

This is going to happen elsewhere during the season and the fixture list will be all over the place. The SPFL should have ensured there are spaces to allow postponed games to be played rather than use up every available space on the Betfred cup. If there is a second wave that will ensure a full fixture list cannot be played. Pity we are so reliant on TV money

What all this suggests to me is that uefa sees themselves as more important than national governments and while I'm at it I can think of no other organisations that spout self interest as much as football and its clubs

Me too. Will let top 4 from each league to be promoted and no relegation. Clubs play each other twice. Split to top 8 and bottom 8. Four new clubs come into the league. Everyone happy. Won't happen though as there would only be 3 old firm games. They ruin everything.

The season has to end to allow next season to go ahead in some shape or form. There will likely be another surge of the virus during next season which will involve more lock downs and or clubs being unable to field a team. Having to finish this season is taking up valuable time from next season. Also need to abandon the league Cup and winter break.

Only way to sort this is to get someone from outwith Scotland who knows nothing about football to judge what is the fairest option. Bet they would nul and void the season. Won't happen because everyone including myself is biased.
