  1. Yes, referring to the players involved as 'assets', whilst factually correct, is some cold terminology.
  2. Odds on that when arranging the night out, someone piped up with 'we're being tested twice a week, so f*ck it'.
  3. Do people who have been diagnosed with a medical condition not have the right to confidentiality? Contact tracing is anonymous as far as I understand it.
  4. I think heads would explode amongst the Hearts' faithful if that were to happen.
  5. I wonder if there's anyone amongst the Dons posters far-sighted enough to have already created a 37gamestogo avatar yet?
  6. Not 100% sure how the Scottish Government Guidance interacts with the regulations associated specifically with football, so don't really know one way or another. Happy to take your word on this.
  7. No worries, no need to apologise, no offence taken. I was pretty much in agreement with you that it would not be rational to postpone games based on one positive test, especially if clubs have the capacity to test players, as it would make football unfeasible. Save that fight for game day (if it happens)!
  8. I don't follow you. My point was that players & staff should be tested prior to Saturday's game to see who tests positive for coronavirus. This would then allow for those staff/players who have tested positive to self isolate away from the squad & leave those players & staff who are not contagious free to play the game on Saturday. If anything the point I was making was against the postponement of games & players to be fined for misconduct for endangering the rest of the squad through irresponsible behaviour.
  9. Good point. Would it not be sensible to test both players & staff to ascertain exactly who has contracted coronavirus, whoever tests positive should be sent home to self-isolate & those unaffected remain eligible to play? Player(s) concerned get fined by the club to reflect additional testing costs.
  10. Comes down to personal responsibility. If the club can show that they have made every effort to ensure that the Return to Football protocols have been communicated clearly to the players involved & didn't have a hand in organising the lockdown celebration piss up, then the players involved should be sanctioned. However, given this is a global public health issue, can see the Scottish Government putting pressure on the SFA to act against the club to ensure zero tolerance.
  11. That'll be him running into corners & being surrounded by people on & off the park then.
  12. If true, could possibly see SPFL, SFA & potentially Scottish Government involvement.
  13. Thanks Random, doesn't bode well if genuine. Some fairly high level recipients of that.
  14. If the game is still going ahead, for those who have seen the e-mail trail, is the particular player named & would we miss them on Saturday?
  15. That's true, you did. If you find yourself entertaining such thoughts in the future, it might help to carry this with you:
