For me its the whole day out when attending football. Even midweek games where a hotel has to be booked. Go for a nice meal, attend the game then go onto a bar with a band. Can't come back quick enough for me. I see Jim Gillespie has been made vice chairman no bad thing in my book.

Would love him to stay but can see the likes of Hibs , Aberdeen coming in for him. At least we have a basis of 15 players signed up for next season. Was surprised to read a tweet from Lee Mair yesterday in support of a footballer who was frozen out by an ex-manager the said player scored against his ex manager at the weekend. Lee Mair wrote he had the same experience at St Mirren being frozen out by Danny Lennon and Tommy Craig.

I don't know if true seemingly St Mirren out bid Aberdeen for Brophy according to our recent clubs accounts which showed 1.5 million in the bank you can add the semi final to that and hopefully a top six finish. Goodwin just signed a three year deal plus increased player budget for next season. Goodwin did knock back Hibs as a player to stay with Saints . I'm not daft if a big club comes calling such as Aberdeen I'm sure Goodwin would be interested if a player budget is there to bring in new blood.
